100.000 people infected with cholera in Yemen / ABWA urges Int. aid
"In Yemen about 200 thousand people are exposed to cholera and 100 thousand are already infected. About 800 thousand, including women and children, in 19 provinces have lost their lives due to cholera" he added.
Deputy Economic Affairs of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly pointed out at the Yemeni people's conditions in Ramadan and said, "This Year, Ramadan has begun while many Muslims have lost their beloved ones and been killed due to the barbaric invasion of Saudi and Al-Khalifa regimes who enjoy the full support from the U.S and The U.K and their allies. Every day we witness death and martyrdom of Muslims, women and children, in Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Pakistan etc. by the hands of terrorists who have been trained by the U.S and Saudi Arabia.
"In Yemen about 200 thousand people are exposed to cholera and 100 thousand are already infected. About 800 thousand, including women and children, in 19 provinces have lost their lives due to cholera" he added.
Stressing on the fact that the number of the infected may rise to 300 thousand he said, "as everyone knows, cholera is transmitted through water and dehydrates the body until the infected person dies. Therefore, Ahlul Bayt World Assembly has decided to send 4 medical serums and some Anti-bionics to each infected person so that the spread of this disease is stopped. However, due to the poverty in Yemen and the destruction of the infrastructure after the invasion of Saudi regime to Yemen which has put Yemen in an aerial and naval siege, Ahlul Bayt World Assembly demands every international institution and organization to aid it in sending the medicine to Yemen."
He also urged all the Muslims around the world, especially the Muslim nation of Iran, to help the bereaved people of Yemen especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
