Ahlul-Bayt International University announced the call for admission of students for the next academic year (2021-2022).

Ahlul-Bayt International University announced the call for admission of students for the next academic year (2021-2022).

The text of the announcement of the university is as follows:

The Ahlul-Bayt International University is a certified university, Licensed and authorized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.The University is a member of the International Association of Universities: IAU (under the auspices of UNESCO).The University admits non-Iranian students in postgraduate level for Master Degree. The Application Deadline for non-Iranian and non-Persian speaker applicants for the academic year of 2021-2022 is August31, 2020. Applicants should carefully read this announcement.

 

Our Master Courses

Faculty of Islamic Studies:
- Islamic Theology and Philosophy	- History of Islam	- Religions and Mysticism
Faculty of Literature & Humanities:
- Persian Language and Literature	- Private Law	- Penal Law and Criminology
Faculty of Social & Behavior Sciences:
- International Relations	- Islamic Economy	- Business Management

Point 1: All faculties are located in Tehran.

Point 2: All Coursesare taught and examined in Persian language, all non-Persian speaker students should go through the preparationPersian language Course before starting their degrees.

Point 3: more information about each Master Degree and modules of studies are available on the University website (abu.ac.ir/en).

 

General criteria

Having an undergraduate degree (or 16 years’ education or 4 years of higher education).

Point 4: If the applicant is about to graduate from the above period, his registration is permitted upon a temporary certificate from his/her University.

1- Applicants must be under 28 years of age.

Point 5: if the applicant has one of the following criteria the maximum age will be 32:

The applicant has memorized 5 parts of the holy Quran - writing or translating at least1 book or research articles - having more than level one of Howzah certificate

2- Being single (Meaning that married students won’t receive married accommodation and extra facilities.)

3- Mental and physical health (Unfortunately the University is unable to provide disability services.)

4- Following criteria would be advantage in admission procedure: “Selecting the field of study in Master the same as of Bachelor","Being able to recite the Holy Quran" and "Being faithful to religious orders".

5- Applicants should not have studied in a master's degree with scholarship in Iran before.

 

Scholarship and Tuition Fees

Scholarship

Applicants selection for scholarship is done by considering all presented documents (scientific, cultural and social records and overall points), through a point based system.

The scholarship will cover following items:

- Free accommodation up to the end of education.

- Free education

- Free meals or allowance for meals

- Cultural facilities

- Sport and psychological consultancy

- Allowance for health insurance

- Research facilities (free internet and library)

- The “possibility” of getting student jobs

Tuition Fees

Other students who could not obtain scholarship, can register with paying $1000 each semester. This group of students will receive all facilities mentioned for the students with a scholarship.Also, they receive the same graduation certificates.

How to Apply

1- Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology Registration

Applicants should register at saorg.ir:8081. They should upload the required documents including personal photo, scan of passport and educational documents.Applicants should choose (24-Ahlul-Bayt International University) as the “Location for Admission” in the registration form. At the end of registration, theapplicants will receive a Reference Number which should be saved. They should use the reference number on theUniversity admission portal.

2- University Registration

After fulfilling the previous stage, theapplicantsshould register at admission.abu.ac.ir using the Iran’s Ministry of Science received Reference Number. The applicant will then receive a username and password to log I into university portal. After completing the abovementioned registration, the applicants should log in toams.abu.ac.ir and complete his/her registration by uploading introduction video and relevant documents. The registration will the complete once you get your application ID code at the end of this stage.

Point 7: It is recommended to prepare all of thedocuments and then start the registration process.

Point 8: Registration guide is available on theUniversity website at abu.ac.ir/en. Applicants are strongly recommended to read it carefully and then start registering.

Point 9: The University will not accept late registration.

Point 10: Accepted student will be admitted to the University only if they present their certified educational documents by the Iranian Embassy and their home country ministry of science and higher education.
