Resistance, way to stand against oppressors: Ayatollah Ramazani
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “In order to stand against the oppressors and seditionists, Islam must be accompanied by Resistance.”
Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met members of the Ulama Association of Tyre, headed by Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Ali Yassin, Head of the Association, Friday Imam of Tyre, and member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by Tyre Ulama, including Lebanese and Palestinian Ulama, while welcoming Ayatollah Ramazani and his accompanying delegation, Sheikh Ali Yassin expressed his satisfaction with the presence of the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Tyre.
“At present, when the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam against the axis of Resistance and the Shiites are underway, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has a crucial and special position in the unity of the Shiites against the enemies. After Black Thursday in Beirut, when several innocent people were martyred, we need to strengthen the Resistance Front against the seditionists. We, the Ulama of Tyre, denounce this crime and emphasize our unity and solidarity,” he said.
While offering condolences on the martyrdom of 7 Lebanese citizens in the Beirut terrorist incident and congratulating on the occasion of Rabiʽ al-Awwal, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The name of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) reminds us of morality and spirituality, which is known among Muslims all over the world. Holding such meetings can certainly be useful for consolidating Islamic capacities.”
“Many parties are trying to distort Islam. The West introduces liberal Islam, and some Arab countries introduce extremist Islam, both of which cause Islamophobia in the world. Some say that because the Quran was revealed at certain times and circumstances, it cannot be useful to everyone today. Some of them even believe that some Quranic verses are not useful for today’s situation. But, we believe that the Quran is for all generations, and even today it can introduce the most valuable ways of life,” continued the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Some seek to introduce Rahmani (merely compassionate), Islam, regardless of resistance and confronting colonialism and exploitation. Islam is indeed the religion of mercy, but at the same time, there are about 400 Quranic verses that mention resisting the oppressors and the arrogant. What does reason rule in the face of oppression? What does it rule when defenseless women and children are killed, and the oppressed are oppressed by the arrogant? When some people take part in a peaceful march and are martyred cruelly, what does the reason say? What is the ruling of the reason against those who kill the innocent intending to create sedition and terror among the people and create sedition by killing women and children?” he added.
“The arrogant front wants Muslims to be sacrificed in the name of religion, and to line up against each other. Imam Hussain (a.s.), the grandson of the Prophet, was also martyred in the name of religion. People who sacrifice Muslims in the name of religion are definitely tools of colonialism. The Khawarij sect was completely eradicated, but in countries like Afghanistan, we still see some people kill innocent women, girls, and children in the name of Islam,” Ayatollah Ramazani said, referring to the arrogant plots for Muslims.
“In dealing with those who incite sedition and terror among Muslims in the name of Islam, the language is not negotiation, but the Resistance. Islam should not be seen only in mercy, but in order to stand against the oppressors and seditionists, Islam should be accompanied by Resistance,” he added.
“Alhamdulillah, the Resistance is alive in Lebanon and the Tyre region. Imam Khomeini said that the issue of Palestine is the issue of Islam, and the defense of Palestine is the defense of Islam. Today, in order to be more successful in spreading the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), we must pay attention to the Fiqh of the Resistance. We must stand against the arrogant. Victory is with those who help the religion of God. Islamic awakening is entrusted to religious scholars to remove ignorance from society and make it grow,” pointed out the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
