Ayatollah Ramazani met with Secretary of Tehran Missionary Society

The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized, “Missionaries have the largest audience in person and face to face, and in terms of quantity and quality the number of audiences of any propagational program is not as high as that of missionaries.”

ABWA Official Website – On Tuesday January 2023, Hojat al-Islam Morteza Adib Yazdi, Secretary of Tehran Missionary Society, met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

At the beginning of this meeting, referring to the third martyrdom anniversary of General Qasem Soleimani, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Today is a big day; the martyrdom anniversary of a mujahid and sincere man. What made General Soleimani famous, and made him beloved by hearts, was his sincerity.”

Referring to the history of the establishment of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and its activities, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The late Ayatollah Taskhiri, Dr. Velayati, the late Ayatollah Asifi and Ayatollah Akhtari as Secretaries General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly carried out lasting actions during the last 30 years since its recent establishment.”

“The general assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is held once every four years. However, the 7^th general assembly was held after seven years due to the outbreak of Covid-19, and was attended by representatives from 117 countries,” he continued.

“More than three thousand local missionaries from different countries are members of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. This is an effective capacity for the international propagation of Islam, and it is a step towards shedding light on the discourse of the Islamic Revolution and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school around the world,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.

“The fact that missionaries guide people to AhlulBayt (a.s.) is a blessing granted by God,” he added, “It is crucial to organize, support, integrate and form a database of missionaries at the national level.”

“Some claim that young people run away from religion. Running away from religion or fighting against it is nonsense. Because religion is a matter of Fitrah (divine nature of human), and no one can fight with nature. Throughout history, many wanted to fight religion and did so but failed,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.

“Missionaries have the largest audience in person and face to face, and in terms of quantity and quality the number of audiences of any propagational program is not as high as that of missionaries. When preaching sermons are based on reason and Fitrah, the audience will understand them well,” expressed Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

At the beginning of this meeting, Hojat al-Islam Adib Yazdi presented a report on the activities of the Tehran Missionary Society. /345/
