Arbaeen, boycotted in media: Ahmadi Tabar

The meeting of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly with the Mawkeb owners and international activists of Arbaeen was held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the conference hall of the Assembly in the presence of Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General.

At the meeting, referring to the importance of Arbaeen, Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar, the Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stated, “In the religious culture (of Shia), Arbaeen is of special importance. In the case of Arbaeen, there are various dimensions, including the emotional and Hosseini’s passion dimension, and in these cases, appropriate measures have been taken.”

“One of the aspects of the Arbaeen is the rational aspect. In Arbaeen, there is a great capacity to spread the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.). This capacity provides the basis for Reappearance (Imam Mahdi). This issue requires creating civilization and lifestyle that has been less worked on,” he continued.

“One of the issues to be considered is the development of Arbaeen in terms of time and space. Arbaeen is the universal community of believers. We must strive for it and make it an opportunity to lay the groundwork for a world government of believers. The method of Arbaeen globalization must be studied,” added the Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Arbaeen has been boycotted in the (international) media. Therefore, everyone who attends the Arbaeen ceremony should try to be a voice and media for that in order to present Arbaeen in the (international) media arena so that its boycott is broken,” said Ahmadi Tabar, referring to the necessity of addressing the media coverage of Arbaeen.

We must learn AhlulBayt’s sciences, knowledge, convey them to all humanity: Ahmadi Tabar

We must learn AhlulBayt’s sciences, knowledge, convey them to all humanity: Ahmadi Tabar

Officials of the “Chennai Shiite Youth Association” from India held a virtual meeting with the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

In this meeting, Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar stated, “In the Quran, the hadiths and the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), Islam has determined the path to the perfection of humanity.”

“According to the hadiths, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) recited all the verses that were revealed to him once in the morning and once in the evening for Imam Ali (a.s.), and explained to him what humanity needs until the Day of Judgment, and asked him to write these issues,” he added.

“The task that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) have assigned to us is to learn their sciences and knowledge and to convey it to all of humanity. Abasalat, one of Imam Reza’s companions, asked the Imam (a.s.), “How can we revive your orders?” Imam Reza (a.s.) replied, “Learn our sciences and teach them to others.” Today, our duty is to acquaint the Shiites, wherever they are, with the pure teachings of Islam and the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.),” continued the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stating that the Prophet (p.b.u.h) said the Hadith al-Thaqalayn to guide human beings.

“Today, human beings, due to the issues they are facing, are looking for the right path, and the right path is the path of the AhlulBayt (a.s.),” he emphasized.

“The fact that you are making a great effort to convey the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) to your fellow speakers, it makes us happy, and we ask God to give you the best,” said Ahmadi Tabar, addressing the officials of the Chennai Shiite Youth Association.

“To promote the knowledge and culture of the Shiites, I recommend that you make a great effort. Holding meetings to teach Aqaed (Islamic beliefs), the Tafsir of the Quran and the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) are valuable measures that should be expanded. Also, serving the victims of natural disasters is a human duty and one of the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.). Imams (a.s.) provided bread, dates, and food to the needy at night, without having anything to do with the beliefs of those people,” he added.

“While in the real world, you make a serious effort to propagate (Islamic teachings) face to face, do not neglect cyberspace, and have programs to introduce the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in this space,” stated the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, regarding the necessity of cultural activities in cyberspace.

“Involve your audience, such as teachers, preachers, students, and families, in setting up educational and research groups. Pay special attention to the family. The family must be Islamic, and the basis of the family is the parents, and they must raise the families,” he stated about the necessity of teamwork.

At the beginning of this virtual meeting, officials from the Chennai Shiite Youth Association presented a report on their cultural, religious, and social activities.

Some of the activities of the Chennai Shiite Youth Association were: holding ceremonies on the deaths and births anniversaries of Imams (a.s.), holding commemorations for Imam Khomeini and Islamic Unity, setting up religious camps and various exhibitions, including a book fair, providing medical assistance, and educational activities for different regions and cultural and educational activities for children, adolescents, women, and families.

Publication of "al-Vilayah al-Ilahiyya al-Islamiyah" written by Sheikh Momen Qomi

Monday, 29 August 2016

Ahlul Bayt World Assembly's secretary of book council has announced the publication of Sheikh Momen Qomi's book "al-Vilayah al-Ilahiyya al-Islamiyah" (divine Islamic leadership) and added: Velayat-e faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist) and his jurisdiction in Major Occultation of Imam Mahdi is one of the most important subjects in Islamic political jurisprudence. Since the past, sources of emulation and scholars have addressed the issue of Velayat-e faqih and his jurisdiction.

Interviewing with ABNA reporter, Sheikh Abbas Jafari Farahani said: in the contemporary history, Imam Khomeini has addressed the necessity of Islamic Government and Velayat-e faqih as one of the certain principles of Islamic political thought which is rooted in genuine Islamic sources more than anyone else. In his books " Kashf Alasrar", "al Baie", and " al makaseb al muharramah " has addressed the necessity of establishment of Islamic government during Imam's occultation and the scholars and sources of emulation's involvement in social affairs using the four primary sources (Holy Quran, narratives, reason, and consensus).

He remarked: after the Islamic revolution of Iran this subject has been discussed and talked about a great deal in Seminary schools. Among those who elaborately discussed this subject was Sheikh Mohammad Momen Qomi, one of Imam Khomeini's pupils. "Velayah Elahia al-eslamiah" is the fruit of those discussions.

He then added: after the Islamic Awakening in some countries in the region, the necessity to publish a book on Velayat-e faqih and his jurisdiction was mentioned by Ahlul Bayt World Assembly's secretary-general and we decided to prepare and publish this book in one volume for distribution especially in Arab countries.

He then concluded: the present book has 427 pages and has been printed in Lebanon under supervision of the author.
