Arbaeen, boycotted in media: Ahmadi Tabar

The meeting of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly with the Mawkeb owners and international activists of Arbaeen was held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the conference hall of the Assembly in the presence of Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General.

At the meeting, referring to the importance of Arbaeen, Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar, the Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stated, “In the religious culture (of Shia), Arbaeen is of special importance. In the case of Arbaeen, there are various dimensions, including the emotional and Hosseini’s passion dimension, and in these cases, appropriate measures have been taken.”

“One of the aspects of the Arbaeen is the rational aspect. In Arbaeen, there is a great capacity to spread the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.). This capacity provides the basis for Reappearance (Imam Mahdi). This issue requires creating civilization and lifestyle that has been less worked on,” he continued.

“One of the issues to be considered is the development of Arbaeen in terms of time and space. Arbaeen is the universal community of believers. We must strive for it and make it an opportunity to lay the groundwork for a world government of believers. The method of Arbaeen globalization must be studied,” added the Deputy for Scientific and Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Arbaeen has been boycotted in the (international) media. Therefore, everyone who attends the Arbaeen ceremony should try to be a voice and media for that in order to present Arbaeen in the (international) media arena so that its boycott is broken,” said Ahmadi Tabar, referring to the necessity of addressing the media coverage of Arbaeen.

To make content produced appealing to audience, we need to know requirements of cyberspace: Ahmadi Tabar

Appreciating the attendance of cyberspace activists in the international arena in this meeting, the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Cyberspace is one of the requirements that must be addressed alongside real space.”

“In the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, some books have been translated into more than 60 languages. But the translation of some books was stopped, and translators were asked to translate books with standard ideas, and those are independent of place and time. Therefore, the products of the assembly are published based on the questions and requirements,” stated Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar, referring to the new policy of the Assembly in line with the activities of cyberspace.

“Among the activities of the General Directorate of Studies and Research of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, is identifying the situations of the audience. Because it is necessary to identify the situation of Shiites in the world through monitoring and observation, and knowing the latest status of our audience. Also, the General Directorate of Studies and Research of the Assembly performs the work of a research institute and a think tank,” he added.

“We held many meetings with experts about the activities of the Assembly in cyberspace. The serious tasks of the General Directorate of Cyberspace are observation, monitoring, and polling, and based on their results, the content will be produced. Content production will also be based on specific requirements and formats. The third task of the General Directorate of Cyberspace is to set up a human and media network,” said the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly on the Assembly’s efforts to work in cyberspace.

“In order for the produced content to be attractive and liked by the audience, we must know the requirements of cyberspace,” he added, emphasizing the need for officials and managers to be familiar with the media and to have media literacy.

“If we do not have global activities and thoughts, we cannot have a message for the world,” Ahmadi Tabar stated.

“We seek to train manpower for Shiites at the level of leadership, cultural management, and making institutions and networks. In this regard, we have established the House of Africa, the House of Pakistan, the House of India, and the House of Azerbaijan,” he said, regarding the other activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

In the end, emphasizing education and the necessity of thinking, the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly introduced the goal as producing magnificent works worthy of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).

At the beginning of the ceremony, while welcoming the participants, Hassan SadraI Aref, the head of the General Department of Cyberspace of the Assembly, gave a brief explanation about the meeting “Requirements of International Activity in Cyberspace; with the aim of consulting and synergy of professors, veterans and activists in this field”. Then, participants expressed their views.

Among the suggestions of cyberspace activists in the international arena who participated in this meeting were: paying attention to the needs of the audience, needs assessment and audience recognition, utilizing the capacities of the Assembly in the world, especially for the organizing, training and empowering preachers and affiliated persons, cooperation with followers of other religions and sects, the need to address the ethical issues in Islam and the introduction of the moral school of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in cyberspace, the need to localize the content produced and to take into account the tastes of the audience, using the successful experiences of others, cooperation with foreigners residing in Qom, the need for coordination, concentration and cohesion of forces active in cyberspace and creating a connecting link between media managers, policy-making and facilitator of the Assembly and identification of new platforms of activity in cyberspace, connection with artists and members of the media working in the international religious arena, launching a network of cultural-virtual missionaries and emphasizing on holding these meetings and creating specialized working groups.

We must learn AhlulBayt’s sciences, knowledge, convey them to all humanity: Ahmadi Tabar

We must learn AhlulBayt’s sciences, knowledge, convey them to all humanity: Ahmadi Tabar

Officials of the “Chennai Shiite Youth Association” from India held a virtual meeting with the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

In this meeting, Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar stated, “In the Quran, the hadiths and the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), Islam has determined the path to the perfection of humanity.”

“According to the hadiths, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) recited all the verses that were revealed to him once in the morning and once in the evening for Imam Ali (a.s.), and explained to him what humanity needs until the Day of Judgment, and asked him to write these issues,” he added.

“The task that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) have assigned to us is to learn their sciences and knowledge and to convey it to all of humanity. Abasalat, one of Imam Reza’s companions, asked the Imam (a.s.), “How can we revive your orders?” Imam Reza (a.s.) replied, “Learn our sciences and teach them to others.” Today, our duty is to acquaint the Shiites, wherever they are, with the pure teachings of Islam and the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.),” continued the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stating that the Prophet (p.b.u.h) said the Hadith al-Thaqalayn to guide human beings.

“Today, human beings, due to the issues they are facing, are looking for the right path, and the right path is the path of the AhlulBayt (a.s.),” he emphasized.

“The fact that you are making a great effort to convey the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) to your fellow speakers, it makes us happy, and we ask God to give you the best,” said Ahmadi Tabar, addressing the officials of the Chennai Shiite Youth Association.

“To promote the knowledge and culture of the Shiites, I recommend that you make a great effort. Holding meetings to teach Aqaed (Islamic beliefs), the Tafsir of the Quran and the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) are valuable measures that should be expanded. Also, serving the victims of natural disasters is a human duty and one of the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.). Imams (a.s.) provided bread, dates, and food to the needy at night, without having anything to do with the beliefs of those people,” he added.

“While in the real world, you make a serious effort to propagate (Islamic teachings) face to face, do not neglect cyberspace, and have programs to introduce the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in this space,” stated the deputy for scientific and cultural affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, regarding the necessity of cultural activities in cyberspace.

“Involve your audience, such as teachers, preachers, students, and families, in setting up educational and research groups. Pay special attention to the family. The family must be Islamic, and the basis of the family is the parents, and they must raise the families,” he stated about the necessity of teamwork.

At the beginning of this virtual meeting, officials from the Chennai Shiite Youth Association presented a report on their cultural, religious, and social activities.

Some of the activities of the Chennai Shiite Youth Association were: holding ceremonies on the deaths and births anniversaries of Imams (a.s.), holding commemorations for Imam Khomeini and Islamic Unity, setting up religious camps and various exhibitions, including a book fair, providing medical assistance, and educational activities for different regions and cultural and educational activities for children, adolescents, women, and families.

Participating in election, religious obligation: Ahmadi Tabar

Participating in election, religious obligation: Ahmadi Tabar

Tuesday, 15 June 2021

The meeting “The necessity of participating in the election” was held on the morning of Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in the prayer hall of the headquarter of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom.

In this meeting, the Deputy Secretary-General and Deputy for the Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The Islamic Republic of Iran is derived from the teachings of the Quran and the AhlulBayt (a.s.). This system seeks to implement the laws of Islam and the AhlulBayt (a.s.).”

“Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, global arrogance has sought to overthrow it with all its might and resources, and has created many conspiracies and plots against the revolution,” said Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar, referring to the conspiracies of the enemies against the Iranian revolution.

“Thanks to the faith of the people and the blood of the martyrs, the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran survived and was able to defeat the global arrogance in successive fields in various fields,” he added.

“In the six-day Arab-Israeli war, three Arab countries were defeated by the Zionist regime. They had no idea of confronting Israel. But today, Israel is on its knees against the resistance in Gaza. Israel’s defeat in the Gaza war is one of the fruits of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.” said Deputy Secretary-General and Deputy for the Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly on the current position of the Resistance Front in the world, considering the infiltration and soft war as methods of confronting the Arrogance with the Iranian Revolution.

“The enemy is trying to prevent the people from participating in the elections extensively. Religious people should be concerned about participating in the elections. Patriots say Iran must be preserved. Because if Iran is defeated, it will be destroyed by Iran's enemies,” he added.

Iran is surrounded by enemies, and the reactionaries in the region have invested in preventing the Iranian people from participating in the elections. Therefore, with these conditions, based on the orders of the Imam Khomeini and Supreme Leader (Ayatollah Khamenei) participating in the elections is a religious and national obligation, and in addition to participating in the election, it is necessary to recommend others to do so,” emphasized the Deputy Secretary-General and Deputy for Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

The martyrdom of Afghan Shiite girls wounded the hearts of the Islamic Ummah: Ahmadi Tabar

The martyrdom of Afghan Shiite girls wounded the hearts of the Islamic Ummah: Ahmadi Tabar

On Monday, May 17, 2021, a scientific meeting entitled “Study of the legal aspects of the terrorist attack on the Sayed Al-Shuhada (a.s.) school, west of Kabul” was held by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, in the conference hall of the Assembly in Qom.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar, expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Afghan Shiite schoolgirls, and said, “The tragic martyrdom of these martyrs wounded the hearts of the Islamic Ummah. A group of students in western Kabul was attacked by terrorists, and the Muslim Ummah mourned.”

“The Afghan authorities must establish peace and security throughout the country,” he continued.

“After the defeat in Afghanistan, Soviet troops withdrew from the country. Then, clashes broke out between various Afghan groups until the Taliban emerged. Shortly, the group was able to take control of many areas in Afghanistan. After a while, it became clear to the people of Afghanistan, both Shiites, and Sunnis, that not all members of the Taliban were pro-Islamic and did not pursue Islamic goals,” Ahmadi Tabar said, referring to the contemporary history of Afghanistan.

“When we look at the history of the Taliban, we come to Deobandi schools. During the British colonization of the subcontinent, they concluded that to succeed, they had to set up barracks in seminaries. In seminaries, students were introduced to military principles in addition to the curriculum so that the colonialists could later use them as infantry. In the recent past, we have witnessed peaceful coexistence between sects in the region. But over the past decades, groups such as the Sipah-e-Sahaba have emerged. The Taliban were established in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of Soviet troops,” he added.

“The enemies concluded that the United States could no longer be present in the region (West Asia), and had to leave Afghanistan. So, they are using the Takfiris to destabilize Afghanistan so that the people of the country will be forced to ask foreign forces to stay in Afghanistan. Although foreign forces ostensibly came to Afghanistan to provide security, their goal was to plunder the country. Afghanistan is one of the richest countries in the world and there are many resources and mines in this country,” continued the Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Referring to the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, Ahmadi-Tabar said, “Before this withdrawal, the terrorists carry out large-scale terrorist operations. Anyone with a bit of compassion cries for hours for this crime, but the West and the Western media, which claim to defend human rights, are indifferent to the crimes of terrorists in Afghanistan.”

“The events in Palestine overshadowed the martyrdom of Afghan girls. This scientific meeting about the martyrdom of these girls is held to examine the legal aspects of the attack on the Sayed Al-Shuhada (a.s.) school. The Afghan brothers must be active all over the world, including the United States and Europe, and make public demands of international institutions to respond to this crime. Afghan schoolgirls were martyred as children and their martyrdom left a scar on the hearts of the Islamic Ummah in Afghanistan. The various dimensions of this issue should be examined and the media should be used in this regard. To reflect the oppression of these martyrs in the world, we must make maximum use of cyberspace. The people of Afghanistan are under attack due to their beliefs,” he continued.

“Afghanistan’s Shiite community has been oppressed, and many of the country’s Sunnis may agree with the Shiites. The different ethnicities and religions in Afghanistan must empathize with each other to witness a prosperous and free Afghanistan in which everyone can coexist peacefully, and a people’s government based on all ideas and thoughts in Afghanistan is in power,” added the Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
