AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly distributed food packages among earthquake-afflicted people of Syria.

ABWA Official Website – After parts of Syria were struck by an earthquake, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly in its first step issued a message of condolence and expressed sympathy for the victims. Then, with a field presence in the earthquake-affected areas and comforting the survivors, this Assembly obtained quantitative and qualitative information about the needs of the earthquake victims.

In continuation of its relief efforts, AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Syria prepared food packages in the affected areas and distributed them among the afflicted families.

It is worth mentioning that due to passing the stage of organizing earthquake victims in shelters and providing them with essential food, now the issue of primary financial assistance to rent houses for at least two months for a significant number of earthquake victims is a priority.

As a result of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake in the morning of Monday, February 6, 2023, in northwestern Syria, in addition to a lot of damage in five provinces of the region, a large number of people were killed. /345/
