All supporter of Islamic Republic, Revolution must be committed to their Islamic, revolutionary duty: Navab

The Secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Population and birth rate is one of the important issues that our country is facing. In this regard, the professors, and the elites, and with a correct explanation and enlightenment, all the supporters of the Islamic Republic and the Revolution must perform their Islamic and revolutionary duty.”

The second meeting of professors and students of the Faculty of Women and Family of the University of Religions and Denominations was held by the faculty in cooperation with the Research Institute of Women and Family. The meeting was attended by Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abolhassan Navab, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the President of the University of Religions and Denominations, and a group of thinkers in the field of women and family.

In the meeting, while explaining the position of women and family in Islam and religious texts and appreciating the efforts of the president and faculty members of the Faculty of Women and Family, the secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “One of my main concerns is women and family issues. I have been dealing with this issue since the beginning of my seminary studies. In this regard, with the establishment of the “School of Women and the Family” and the “Research Institute of the Woman and the Family”, we have been making our attempts to do appropriate fundamental works for the community of women and the family.”

“Thanks to the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the emphasis of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, appropriate measures have been taken in the country, although they have not been enough,” added Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abolhassan Navab.

“All officials and professors of the seminary and the university should seriously pursue the issue of women and the family and make scientific plans in this regard,” he emphasized.

“Unfortunately, the negligence of the academic and seminary community has led to the growth of feminist thought in society which is a blow to the status of women and the family and can inflict irreparable damage on society and the dignity of women and the family,” added the president of the University of Religions and Denominations.

In this regard, the professors, and the elites, and with a correct explanation and enlightenment, all the supporters of the Islamic Republic and the Revolution must perform their Islamic and revolutionary duty,” continued the seminary and university professor.

In this meeting, before the speech of the Secretary of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, while welcoming the participants in the meeting, Dr. Azam Khoshsourat Movafaq, Dean of the Faculty of Women and Family of the University of Religions and Denominations, presented a report on the scientific and educational activities of her respective faculty.

It should be mentioned that in this meeting, the President of the University of Religions and Denominations praised and appreciated the scientific and cultural efforts of Hojat al-Islam Dr. Mohammad Reza Zibaei Nejad, Director of the Women and Family Research Institute, and some other professors and activists in the field of women and family.
