Ayatollah Ramazani expressed his condolences on demise of Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani
In a message, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences on the demise of Grand Ayatollah Haj Sayed Mohammad Ali Alavi Gorgani.
In a message, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences on the demise of Grand Ayatollah Haj Sayed Mohammad Ali Alavi Gorgani.
The message of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Imam Sadeq (a.s.) said, “With the demise of a believing scholar, there will be a breach in Islam that nothing will cover.”
The demise of Mujahid Alem and pious Marja, Grand Ayatollah Haj Sayed Mohammad Ali Alavi Gorgani (r.a.) - shortly after the demise of the late Grand Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani - caused another great damage to the Shiite world.
The blessed deceased, who had benefited the clear source of the jurisprudence of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) in the seminaries of Qom and Najaf, saturated his enthusiasts and students with those pure teachings for many years.
His valuable services in promoting the culture of the Quran and the AhlulBayt (a.s.), works about Quran, Hadith, jurisprudence, Osul and ethics, various charitable public services in various cities and villages, and the various books that he left behind, are remnants of the righteous for him.
The moral virtues of the late Grand Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani - such as deep attention and recourse to the Infallibles (a.s.), politeness, modesty, exemplary good character, being a supporter of people and simplicity - will be a living model for our Ulama and scholars.
In addition to supporting the holy system of the Islamic Republic, the deceased was also a pioneer in issues related to the Islamic world and the oppression against the world’s Shiites. He was always kind and considerate to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and its various activities.
On this irreparable loss, I offer my condolences to Imam Mahdi (a.s.) and to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, as well as Grand Marjas, the seminaries of Qom and Najaf, the martyr-nurturing people of Golestan province, the honorable family of Alavi Gorgani, and all his students, devotees, and followers.
For that precious master, I ask God Almighty to exalt him and reunite with his pure ancestors, and I ask for patience for his family, acquaintances, and children.
“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
