ABWA Official Website – In a message, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences on the demise of Haj Mohammad Ali Watani, one of the pious and well-known Iranian managers in the field of economy.

The message of Ayatollah Ramazani is as follows:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The demise of our faithful and philanthropic brother, Mr. Haj Mohammad Ali Watani caused sorrow.

He was one of the pious figures who responded to the call of the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) in the struggle against the Shah’s regime, and also after the victory of the Revolution, he served the people and the holy system of the Islamic Republic in various administrative departments.

The felicitous deceased, who was an aide to the deprived and compassionate to the oppressed, also helped the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in attracting the benefactors to support cultural and philanthropic activities to promote the teachings of the Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.).

I offer my condolences to his family, friends and colleagues for the loss of this righteous and serving figure, and I pray for God’s mercy and grace for him, and patience and peace for his bereaved family.
