Effects, consequences of betrayal on trust/responsibilities, golden opportunities for human beings
Pointing out that responsibility is a golden opportunity given to human beings, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “If a person cannot maintain this trust, his opportunity will become a threat and he will be harmed in this world and the hereafter.”
In the 23rd episode of the special internet program “Facing the Sky”, which is broadcast on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, pointing out that God has considered human beings trustworthy and has entrusted us with great trusts, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani Gilani stated, “Humans must also be good trustees.”
“We must be sensitive to the trust that people entrust to us and return it to them,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stating that fiduciary duty should show itself in all sectors.
“All responsibilities in the Islamic country, including, attorney, ministry, Imamate of the congregation and the Friday prayer, representation of the parliament, the judiciary, the legislature, and the executive are trusts,” he stated, pointing out that one of the points that Imam Ali (a.s.) emphasizes is the responsibility of fiduciary duty.
“We are proud of Imam Ali (a.s.) and we thank God Almighty for connecting with this trustworthy family,” Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out.
“We should not look at the responsibilities entrusted to us as bait, rather the responsibilities are trusts on man,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
Stating that we should not neglect the trust entrusted to us, he added, “If we have this view of responsibility, we can do the right thing and achieve happiness.”
Pointing out that the head of Islam and the supreme faith is trust, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Imam Ali (a.s.) in a letter to some of his agents says, ‘Whoever despises and betrays what is considered as trust, and does not purify his soul and faith from betrayal, he will be disgraced in this world and will be more disgraced in the Hereafter.”
“The worst sin is for a person to betray the responsibility entrusted to him as a trust,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, stating that the greatest betrayal is a betrayal to the Muslim Ummah.
