Honoring, introducing ceremony for AhlulBayt University President

A ceremony for honoring the former President and introducing the new President of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University was held with the speech Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretaty General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

 

The ceremony of honoring Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Mansour Mirahmadi Chenarouyeh and introduction of Hojat al-Islam Dr. Saeed Jazari Mamoui as the President of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University was held with speech by Ayatollah Reza Ramazani Gilani Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and Dr. "Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, a member of the board of trustees of the University, in full compliance with Covid-19 healthcare protective measures.

In an introduction on the importance of the knowledge, Ayatollah Ramazani referred to three valuable sentences from the Prophet Muhammad and said, "The first sentence is: "I was sent for the mercy"; the second sentence is: "I was sent as teacher"; and the third is: "Indeed, I was sent to complete the moral virtues". All of them are for showing the path, in order for humanity to be on the path of rational life. For, as Quran introduce the holy prophet, in addition to the authority for elevating Quran and mentoring people's egos, it refers to him as a teacher as says, "and to teach them the Book and wisdom" (Holy Quran, 62:2)."

"One of the important characteristics of a society is Knowledge. So, as Prophet Muhammad emphasized, "the society (members) should be either knowledgeable or learner or lover of knowledge. Science is the basis of all good, and if human society is devoid of knowledge, it will not make any progress. A society is progressive if it cares about thought, thinking, reason and knowledge and the like", Ayatollah Rmazani Added.

"The more human society benefits from knowledge and thought, the more it evolve, progress and excel. The seminaries and scientific and academic centers are also expected to pave the way for knowledge for the society. Wherever there is ignorance, that society will certainly be a backward one, and wherever there is knowledge and reason, that society will be a progressive one.", according to the public relations department of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, Ayatollah Ramazani continued.

Referring to the statute of the International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.), the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly considered it as one of the most important statutes approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.

"The demands of the Board of Trustees and the demands of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly from the university are very high and however some measures have been taken during the management tenure of past managers, for example, in the management of Dr. Mir Ahmadi, who tried to take appropriate measures with his moral management and to be fair, he took good steps, but in the new phase, the expectation is that the capacities of cyberspace will be used to increase the number of the students and diversify the courses, as well as the capacities of Muslim professors on a global scale, arranging university courses, reforming and strengthening them according to new necessities and needs", Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.

Referring to the expectations and demands of the Assembly from the new management, including the overall transformation, he clarified, "Among the serious demands of the university is the increase of international scientific and cultural events in the International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.), the increase of academic interactions and exchanges on a national and international scale at the level of professors and students, and the holding of courses for this purpose. The International of AhlulBayt (a.s.) can play a very important role in avoiding the international community from extremism, and if this path is ruled in the international community, the path of human society will definitely be the path of excellence."

"International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.) can be a continuation of knowledge production and represent the scientific leap of Iran. Therefore, the graduates must be both pious and literate and scientifically elite. In such a way that the University can be a model for the world", he added.

In the end, congratulating Dr. Jazari, the new president of the university, Ayatollah Ramazani expressed his hope that during his presidency, great progress will be made and the achievements of the his management will be in favor of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University and in favor of different nationalities all over the world, "It is very important to pay close and in-depth attention to strategies, necessities, priorities and harms in educating students", he concluded.

After Ayatollah Ramazani, Dr. Haddad Adel, a member of the Board of Trustees of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, as the second speaker of the ceremony, said, "One of the goals of establishing this university is to plan and organize the scientific and educational expectations of non-Iranian students along with other institutions."

"Just as we receive guests in the best room in our house, we must receive foreign students who are guests in our country in our best university. That is, if we are in a position to share opportunities, we must prioritize the issue that is our reputation in the world at stake", Dr. Haddad Adel added.

"If we succeed in managing the International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.), and far from haste, with investment and patience, train and provide professors and attract students in accordance with our educational facilities, then every graduate of the university, will shine everywhere in the world. Otherwise, and if the university does not have the necessary scientific basis, these graduates will not have the necessary efficiency. According to public relations department of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) international university, in the ceremony, Dr. Mansour Mirahmadi Chenarouyeh, the former president of the university, appreciating the former and new Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and congratulating the new position to Dr. Jazari as the president of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) international university, he presented a brief report on the activities carried out at the university during his administration.

In the end, Dr. Saeed Jazari Mamoui, the new president of the university said, "When I was appointed as the president of AhlulBayt (a.s.) international university by the decree of Ayatollah Ramazani, I saw that although the former presidents of the university have made valuable efforts, there is still a lot of work to be done. I remembered a sentence that a great person said, "If there is a work in the name and for the AhlulBayt (a.s.), they themselves support it to be done." We hope that by the grace of those nobles, and your prayers, we will see this long journey as simple and easy."

At the end of the ceremony, the decree of appointment of the President of the International University of AhlulBayt (a.s.), was read and awarded to Dr. Jazari Mamoui by Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. Dr. Haddad Adel also gave a gift to Dr. Mansour Mirahmadi, and his efforts were appreciated.
