Insight, main constituent of Arbaeen movement: Nawab

Considering insight as the main constituent of the Arbaeen movement, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs stated, “Clerics should pay attention to the software dimension of Arbaeen pilgrimage. One of the most important measures to increase insight is the Arbaeen pilgrimage.”

The meeting of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly with the Mawkeb owners and international activists of Arbaeen was held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the conference hall of the Assembly in the presence of Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General.

In this meeting, referring to the characteristics of Arbaeen, Hojat al-Islam Abdolfattah Nawab, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj pilgrimage affairs, stated, “Arbaeen is a great opportunity. Because there are many walks in the world. But the Arbaeen pilgrimage path is a focal point for awakening everyone.”

“Arbaeen lovers are not just Shiites. Sunnis and Christians were present in Arbaeen Walk. If it weren’t for the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, the Arbaeen Walk would be international (again this year),” he continued.

“Arbaeen is an opportunity to gain insight. Also, one of the signs of a believer is the Arbaeen pilgrimage. In the Arbaeen pilgrimage, 60 attributes are mentioned to know the Imam, and 12 attributes are mentioned to know the enemies of the Imam. According to this pilgrimage letter, the top of all ugliness in the event of Ashura was the pride of the enemies of Imam Hussein (a.s.) to their worldly life,” added the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs.

“Clerics should pay attention to the software dimension of Arbaeen pilgrimage. One of the most important measures to increase insight is the Arbaeen pilgrimage,” stated the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, considering insight as the main constituent of the Arbaeen movement.

“Knowing about the Imam, following the Imam, recognizing the enemies of the Imam, and the factors causing the enmity of the enemies with the Imam are among the items mentioned in the Arbaeen pilgrimage letter,” he continued.

“Just as it is responsible for pilgrims in Iran, Be’the of the Supreme Leader (District of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist Representation in the affairs of Hajj and pilgrimage) is also responsible for pilgrims outside Iran,” added the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs.

“We must determine a specific plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage ceremony so that the pilgrims can leave the Arbaeen pilgrimage with a higher vision after participating in this ceremony,” he mentioned.
