Lights of Guidance exhibition have influential role in enlightening public opinion: Mokhtari

While considering the Lights of Guidance exhibition as influential, the head of Urwa Al-Wuthgha International Research Institute stated, “Such exhibitions can be useful for enlightening public opinion as well as raising the awareness and knowledge of young people and familiarizing them with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school.”

ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, ABNA reporter interviewed Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Hossein Mokhtari, the head of Urwa Al-Wuthgha International Research Institute.

While referring to visiting the exhibition and finding it effective, the head of Urwa Al-Wuthgha International Research Institute stated, “Such exhibitions can be useful for enlightening public opinion as well as raising the awareness and knowledge of young people and familiarizing them with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school.”

“Orientalists and researchers of the world mostly investigate the revelation teachings of Islam based on Sunni sources,” he added, “Perhaps many researchers have recently realized that the truths of Islam cannot be studied only from Sunni sources, but Shia also have sources and express its views.”

“The Shia is an academic denomination based on rationality, thought, and rationality, and it originates from the AhlulBayt school. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) introduced Islam to us through both narrative and intellectual methods.,” Mokhtari stated.

It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.    

It is also worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.

The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
