Lights of Guidance exhibition to promote scientific development of Shia: Eskandari

Appreciating the launch of the Lights of Guidance Exhibition, the Director General of Endowments and Charity of Qom Province emphasized, “The exhibition can lead to the scientific and cultural convergence of the Shiite committed and scientific people.”

ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, ABNA reporter interviewed Hojat al-Islam Abbas Eskandari, Director General of Endowments and Charity Organization of Qom Province.

Stating that the exhibition was rich, and precious works of researchers, scholars and thinkers of the Islamic and Shiite worlds have been displayed there, Hojat al-Islam Eskandari emphasized, “Such measures, in addition to promote the scientific prosperity of Shia, will cause solidarity among all the intellectuals of the Shia world.”

“The measures taken are very valuable at the present time, and in the future, they can provide suitable measures for the scientific and cultural convergence of committed, wise and scholarly Shiites,” he said.

“We hope that in the coming years, participation in the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition will be wider with the presence of Islamic countries, and their scientific works will be displayed,” added the Director General of Endowments and Charity Organization of Qom Province.

“In the current era of Muslims isolation, especially that of Shiites, such actions can cause the call of oppressed Shiites and the pure culture of AhlulBayt (a.s.) to be heard by the world,” Eskandari said.

“If we can convey the AhlulBayt (a.s.) teachings, in a pure and clear way, to people who are not politically biased and are not influenced by arrogant media, this culture will become widespread,” he said in the end.

It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.

It is also worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.

The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
