Martyr Soleimani was cry of righteous people over takfir: Sheikh Zuhair Jaid

The coordinator of the Lebanese Islamic Amal Front said, “Martyr Soleimani spread dignity everywhere. He was the cry of the righteous people over Takfir, and the herald of unity and proximity among Muslims.”

The international webinar “Martyr Qasem Soleimani, role model for Islamic world in fight against arrogance, extremism” was held on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm, by the Secretariat of the World Conference “Countering Extremism and Takfiriism”, in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly with the presence of thinkers and scholars of the Islamic world.

In this webinar, Sheikh Zuhair Jaid, the coordinator of the Lebanese Islamic Amal Front, said, “It takes time to talk about Martyr Soleimani. He was the essence of a nation and played an important role in realizing our ideal; an ideal that will always remain in our minds. Our ideal is to one day return to Palestine and save it from the clutches of the enemy. Previously, due to the despicable Arab regimes, we considered this ideal as unattainable.”

“We were disappointed. Until Imam Khomeini (r.a.) came and led a revolution in which there was no difference between Shiites and Sunnis. Imam Khomeini’s revolution was for all the oppressed. He supported Lebanon and Palestine and caused creating great resistance in those countries. After the demise of Imam Khomeini, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution continued the path of the late Imam,” he continued.

“Qassem Soleimani was one of the prominent commanders of the Islamic Revolution. This martyr is not only the pride of Muslims, but the whole world is proud of him. To describe this martyr, we cannot express even a little of his personality even if we hold various conferences and ceremonies in his honor. Only God knows the reward of General Soleimani. His reward is with God, and he will receive it,” added the coordinator of the Lebanese Islamic Amal Front.

“This martyr always asked others to pray for his martyrdom. I once asked him to give me his ring because I knew his martyrdom was certain. I wanted to give this ring to my children. This is the tradition of the figures and commanders that do not die in bed,” stated Sheikh Zuhair Jaid, considering Martyr Soleimani as a man who was on the divine path.

“Once, at lunch time, we arrived at the office of Martyr Soleimani with a group of Palestinian and Lebanese leaders. He did not sit at the table for lunch and served us instead. We wanted him to sit with us for lunch. But he refused and insisted on serving us. Martyr Soleimani was above all in forgiveness, dignity, and jihad but he was very humble,” he continued.

“Martyr Soleimani spread dignity everywhere. He was the cry of the righteous people over Takfir, and the herald of unity and proximity among Muslims. He did not support any particular religion and did not escalate ethnic and tribal strife. He was an international figure who belonged to all human beings. The presence of Martyr Soleimani is now felt more than ever, and his name and memory are more alive than ever. Our ideals and the efforts of Martyr Soleimani will be fruitful and the Mujahideen and the believers will be victorious, like the victories in Palestine, Syria and Yemen,” added the coordinator of the Lebanese Islamic Amal Front.

“Today, the axis of resistance has become diverse and wide, encompassing all tribes and religions. By the grace of God, we will all pray in Quds soon, and all conspiracies to normalize relations with the Zionist regime will fail, and the way to Quds will be opened with the efforts of the students of Martyr Soleimani,” he mentioned.
