"Rationality, Spirituality, Justice, Resistance" four main factors in evolution of Assembly

The 188th session of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly began with the presence of majority of members in the holy city of Mashhad on Thursday.

 

After the remarks of the Chairman and Secretary of the Supreme Council, Ayatollah Ramezani, Secretary-General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly made his remarks and first appreciated to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Supreme Council members for their trust. He expressed hope that he would be able to carry out their expectations.

 

Ayatollah Reza Ramazani appreciated the 30-year efforts of the Secretary-Generals of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and said: "I appreciate Ayatollah Taskiri, Velayati, Ayatollah Asefi (R) and in particular the 15 years sincere and long lasting efforts of Ayatollah Akhtari."

 

He then presented a report of his three-month activities at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, which included meeting with Grand Ayatollahs and scholars in his first measure.

 

Ayatollah Ramezani considers "Rationality, Spirituality, Justice and Resistance" four key elements in evolution the Assembly and said, "In this way we need to know our audience ato consider. The creation of a financial discipline and the formation of a database is underway in the new Assembly period."

 

The Secretary-General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly also gave a brief report on his trips to Turkey, Germany and France.

The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly  is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
