Ayatollah Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini stated, “The path of Imam Hussain (a.s.) is a symbol of the unity of the Islamic Ummah. People from different countries and religions participate in the Arbaeen Walk and this shows that this path will guide us all to Islamic and human unity.”

“The Arbaeen Walk is a miracle of the era,” he added, “It is a symbol of honor, dignity, giving, generosity and brotherhood. We see with our own eyes that there is nothing like this phenomenon. Walking Arbaeen is the path of equality, and helping the AhlulBayt (a.s.), and it will have spiritual fruits for the pilgrims.”

“Arbaeen Walk is the route of Lady Zainab (a.s.), Imam Sajjad (a.s.), and AhlulBayt (a.s.). In this way, they showed everyone the dignity and honor of Islam and the invalidity of falsehood and the betrayal of traitors,” added the representative of Supreme Leader of the Revolution in Iraq.

“The movement of Imam Hussain (a.s.) has not ended, and this path has no end. As the army of Lady Zainab (a.s.) and Imam Sajjad (a.s.), our path, movement and mission should be their path. We must have Tawalli (loving God, Prophet and his family – AhlulBayt) and Tabarri (opposition to enemies of God, Prophet and his family – AhlulBayt) in our path; Tabarri from the arrogant and Yazid of the time, that is, the United States and those who are ill-wishers of Muslims. Tawalli means loving the saints of God, and those who say, “There is no God but Allah” and “Muhammad is the Messenger of God”. Tawalli to those who seek the dignity of people and humanity. Therefore, we are accompanying Imam Hussain (a.s.), Lady Zainab (a.s.) and Imam Sajjad (a.s.) in this path,” he added.

“Imam Sajjad (a.s.) and Lady Zainab (a.s.) changed the equations of the enemy. In such a way that the people of Kufa realized that they had broken their allegiance and betrayed the AhlulBayt (a.s.). Therefore, they were ashamed, regretted and cried, and Lady Zainab (a.s.) blamed them. The same thing happened in Levant. The people of Levant did not know AhlulBayt (a.s.), and they thought that Imam Hussain (a.s.) had no religion (God forbid) and Imam Ali (a.s.) did not pray (God forbid)! The situation became such that Yazid had to hold a mourning ceremony for Imam Hussain (a.s.) in his palace, and the atmosphere changed in Levant,” said Ayatollah Hosseini, regarding the results of the Ashura uprising.

“The blood of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his faithful companions was spread all over the world and Islamic countries. Especially during the days of Arbaeen in Iraq and in the cities of Karbala and Najaf, and wherever people’s hearts beat for Imam Hussain (a.s.), Hussaini fervor has been created,” he said.

In the end, the representative of Supreme Leader of the Revolution in Iraq once again apreciated the people of Iraq and Mowkeb owners for welcoming the pilgrims.
