Syria’s AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly denounced terrorist attack in Homs

In a statement, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Syria expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs of the terrorist attack in Homs.

ABWA Official Website – In a statement, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Syria denounced the drone attack by terrorist groups on the Military Academy of Homs.

Part of the statement of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Syria reads, “Undoubtedly, shedding blood does not diminish the will of the heroes nor does it change their positions. On the contrary, it increases their determination.”

The English version of this statement, which was originally issued in Arabic, is as follows:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الصِّدِّيقُونَ ۖ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

“Those who have faith in Allah and His apostles—it is they who are the truthful and witnesses with their Lord; they shall have their reward and their light. But as for those who are faithless and deny Our signs, they shall be the inmates of hell.” (Holy Quran, Surah: Al-Hadid, Verse: 19)

This is the situation of nobles and members of the Resistance. The devil’s hand is causing corruption and sedition in the region with its evil structure and vile knowledge, and targeted Syria, the symbol of Resistance in the region, and its heroes at the Homs Military Academy and their innocent civilian families and relatives.

Undoubtedly, shedding blood does not diminish the will of the heroes nor does it change their positions. On the contrary, it increases their determination.

Just minutes after they made a covenant with God and swore to sacrifice their lives (for homeland and Resistance), they fulfilled their oath and vow.

We express our condolences to the families of the martyrs, both military and civilian, and we pray to God to grant patience for them, and stability for the nation and government of this heroic country, so that their Resistance ship will dock on the shore of victory and security. Undoubtedly, the End belongs to those who are patient.

In the Holy Quran, Surah Al-An'am, verse 34, God says: “وَلَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَصَبَرُوا عَلَىٰ مَا كُذِّبُوا وَأُوذُوا حَتَّىٰ أَتَاهُمْ نَصْرُنَا ۚ وَلَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكَ مِنْ نَبَإِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ” (Rejected were the messengers before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah. Already hast thou received some account of those messengers.)

On Thursday, October 5, 2023, terrorist groups launched a drone attack on the graduation ceremony of the officers of the Homs Military Academy. In this attack, 89 people, including 31 women and 5 children, were martyred, and 277 others were injured. In statements, some countries condoled this tragic terrorist attack.
