The international seminar “Islamic Humanities in the Thought of Allameh Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi” will be held with the participation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

ABWA Official Website – The international seminar “Islamic Humanities in the Thought of Allamah Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi” will be held for two days on June 15 and 16, 2023, with the participation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly at Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Educational and Research Institute in Qom.

The scientific secretary of the seminar will be Hojat al-Islam Ali Mesbah Yazdi, the son of the late Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, and the conference will be chaired by Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi.

Among the programs of the first day of the seminar will be the speech of Ayatollah Mohsen Araki and Dr. Parviz Davoudi, and holding sessions of specialized commissions for philosophy, educational sciences, psychology, Tafsir and Quranic sciences, ethics, and mysticism.

Also, on the second day of the seminar, these programs will be held: the lectures of Professor Muhammad Legenhausen, Dr. Manouchehr Mohammadi, and Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri, as well as sessions of specialized commissions for philosophy, educational sciences and psychology, theology and philosophy of religion, management and economics, sociology, law, and humanities.

Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Misbah Yazdi, the former head of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, a representative of the Council of Leadership Experts, the head of Imam Khomeini (r.a.) Educational and Research Institute, and a member of the Qom Seminary Teachers Association, passed away on January 1, 2021, due to illness.
