The liberation of Palestine responsibility of all humanity: Rashed Al-Rashed:
The head of the political office of the Bahrain Islamic Action Movement said, “The liberation of Palestine is not only the responsibility of the Palestinians, but the responsibility of all humanity.”
The webinar “Palestine; our first cause” was held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, on the eve of the International Quds Day, by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and with the participation of the Center of the United Ummah.
In the webinar, referring to the global nature of the Palestinian issue, Dr. Rashed al-Rashed, head of the political office of the Bahrain Islamic Action Movement, said, “In the case of Palestine, we are not just facing the occupation of a country, but it is part of a larger project to dominate the entire Islamic world and even the world. This is also one of the results of the ‘Sykes-Picot’ agreement and the monopole world. The issue of Palestine is not just about Muslims.”
“Quds Day is an international day. We must raise the issue of Palestine as a global issue as Imam Khomeini (r.a.) emphasized. Occupation is a violation of all international norms,” he continued.
“The liberation of Palestine is not only the responsibility of the Palestinians but also the responsibility of the whole humanity. Because in Palestine human dignity has been violated. The whole world must work for the liberation of the Palestinians, of course, if they claim to defend humanity, otherwise they will be among the destroyers of human civilization,” added the head of the political office of the Bahrain Islamic Action Movement.
Referring to the connection between the Palestinian issue and humanity, Dr. Rashed Al-Rashed said, “We do not consider Palestine to be just an Arab-Islamic country and the first qibla of Muslims. What is happening in Palestine goes beyond these issues and is related to the issue of humanity. The Zionists, because they have power, are committing aggression in Palestine.”
“The truth is now clear to everyone. Imam Khomeini (r.a.) said decades ago that this cancerous tumor must be removed and stressed the globalization of the Palestinian cause. Responsibility in this regard is not limited to a particular group but everyone is responsible in this regard,” he mentioned.
