Westerners seek to limit religion/ Power of Islam, Muslims confront colonialism: Ayatollah Ramazani
Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The enemies of Islam could not destroy the religion, but they limited it. Limiting religion was done by Westerners. They could not fight against religion, but they forged and made fake spiritualities.”
ABWA Official Website – Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, who traveled to Burundi at the invitation of the Shiites and Muslims of the country, attended the ceremony of the Khojah Shiites.
In this ceremony, about the types of encounters with religion Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “In the last hundred years, two types of encounters with religion have been seen. Some wanted to remove religion and claim that religion is a superstition, has no reality, and is made by the poor and destitute. Therefore, they formed a government based on irreligion, that is, communism. During my visit to Georgia, the archbishop of the country told me, “You have not experienced the seventy years of communist rule. They used mosques as warehouses; In offices and other places, saying Salah was banned, and it was forbidden to go to Hajj pilgrimage.” That is, religion was forbidden. During this period, the church was also like this, and it was in a bad condition.”

Regarding the acceptance of Islam in the West, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “During the month of Muharram, mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussain (a.s.) are held in the most important cities of the US, Germany, Austria, and France. There are many Islamic centers in Russia, and from at least one hundred countries pilgrims go to the Arbaeen Great Walk. Also, Islam is being studied at all the prestigious universities of the world such as Harvard, Sorbonne, Cambridge, and Oxford.”
“Formerly, the Eastern and Western blocs conflicted with each other. But today there is no trace of the Eastern Bloc. What stands against global colonialism is the power of Islam and Muslims,” he stated.
Referring to the extreme view of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) are the honorable servants of God, and many verses have been revealed about them. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) struggled for 23 years and was bothered more than all the prophets. Therefore, God said to him, “Tell the people that I do not ask for anything from you, except for the love of my family (AhlulBayt),” which benefits you.”
Emphasizing the need for young people to know pure Islam, Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized, “To know more about pure Islam, young people need to study a lot, and they should refer to authentic sources. In order to understand Islam accurately, they must know the Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) together. Many attempts have been made to make Islam neutral. But all these efforts failed. As much as you can, learn the teachings of religion from AhlulBayt (a.s.).”
