Wiki Shia must present most accurate, deepest knowledge of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) to world: Ayatollah Ramazani
Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “All the deputies and different sections of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly are on the path of change. To achieve this goal, we have a long way to go.”
In a ceremony on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom, the Secretary-General of the Assembly appointed the new head of the Wiki Shia encyclopedia.
In the ceremony Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “All the deputies and different sections of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly are on the path of change. To achieve this goal, we have a long way to go.”
“One of the general goals of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is to achieve the position of scientific and spiritual authority in the world,” he added.
“The rules of Islam must be implemented in various fields. The implementation of Islamic rules in the social and political spheres has been one of the blessings of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Before the Revolution, most attention was paid to the individual aspect of Islam, and if this path continued, the Islamic world would become liberal. The arrogant sought to impose their management on the world and globalize their ideas. But by the grace of God, they failed,” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Today, the Islamic world stands against Eastern and Western arrogance. Therefore, to explain the religion of Islam, we must have a correct and deep understanding,” he added.
“There are requirements for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to reach scientific authority,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “All departments and offices of the Assembly must try to reach general scientific authority. Wiki Shia can show this general authority at different levels. In a way that provides the most accurate and deepest knowledge to the world.”
“The Wiki Shia must show its comprehensive authority in various fields. The virtues of the words of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) must be explained so that people will follow it, and the prayers of the Imams (a.s.) should include us. Our initial objective for the Wiki Shia is to reach 100,000 entries. We support this encyclopedia in all aspects,” he also said.
“Free of charge, or for a small fee, various international centers and personalities can be used to develop Wiki Shia entries and translate them into other languages,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Increasing the number of languages, quantitative and qualitative development of articles, using up-to-date and efficient specialists, preparing introductory topics for the next 5 to 10 years, contacting the translation and Strategic Studies Department of the Assembly and contacting the Islamic Propagation Office of the Qom Seminary and home and abroad organizations are the priorities of the new head of the Wiki Shia. The Wiki Shia should have innovative designs, and experts should help to make it comprehensive and deepened. Also, seminary students should be familiar with the Wiki Shia,” he added.
“For the new head of the Wiki Shia, we were looking for someone who is already an employee of the Wiki Shia. People were introduced, and all were suitable for this position. But in the end, the decision was made to choose Mr. Ebrahim Amini. He is a religious young man, creative and a supporter of the Velayat. He has a seminary and university education and knows English and Malay. He is also familiar with IT. These characteristics are important to us. We wish Mr. Amini success. We also appreciate Dr. Farmanian, the former head of the Wiki Shia encyclopedia, for his efforts,” stated Ayatollah Ramazani on the new head of the Wiki Shia encyclopedia.
He also appreciated many years of service of Ahmad Fahimi and Mohammad Javad Khorsandi, retired employees of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
