Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, “With 95% of the media outlets in their possession, the Zionist regime does not allow the world people to learn about the regime’s crimes, and events in Palestine. During my visit to some African countries, I observed this issue closely.”

ABWA Official Website – On Thursday afternoon, October 27, 2023, a ceremony was held to denounce the crimes of the Zionist regime and commemorate the martyrs of Gaza, at the headquarters of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom with the presence of officials, staff, and representatives of cultural centers affiliated with the Assembly. Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly delivered a speech at this ceremony.

At the beginning of his speech, while expressing his condolences on the martyrdom of the oppressed people of Gaza, especially the martyrs of the bombing of al-Mamadani hospital, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Palestine is not just for our region but for the whole Islamic world. All Muslims must take a specific position and analyze the situation carefully.”

Referring to persuasive and proscribing principles of the Islamic Revolution discourse in the international arena, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The first persuasive principle is the realization of dignity in human society, examples of which are attention to human rights and citizenship and attention to people’s opinions in determining their own destiny.”

“Human dignity is realized in the light of the monotheistic system. The late Imam Khomeini (r.a.), the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, said, “I came to restore human dignity.” The dignity of human beings has been damaged and weakened in the present age, the result of which is nothing but making them obedient. This strategy is implemented in Pharaonic and tyrant systems so that the domination system sustains,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.

Explaining the second persuasive principle of the Islamic Revolution, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “In Islamic and Hadith sources, justice is mentioned as the desire of all prophets, the goal of all holy books, and a social principle. However, it should be noted that achieving justice costs a lot. When noting the issue of justice, the Holy Quran uses the word “قیام” (Qiyam: uprising) which means the justice that arises from the context of society, Fitrah (human divine nature), and reason, and this is contrary to “اقامه” (Iqama: rise up), which is an imposed matter. In Tafsir of the verse “قُلْ إِنَّما أَعِظُکُمْ بِواحِدَةٍ أَنْ تَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ مَثْني‏ وَ فُرادي” (Say, ‘I give you just a single advice: that you rise up for Allah’s sake, in pairs or singly) (Holy Quran, Surah: Saba, Verse: 46), Imam Khomeini (r.a.) said, “This verse refers to two principles: firstly, the human need for a monotheistic system to gain dignity, and secondly, the observance of justice in social affairs, which the stability of the society depends on”.”

Explaining the two proscribing principles of the discourse of Islamic Iran, he said, “Avoidance of oppression and avoidance of submitting to oppression are the two principles of Islamic civilization. For example, no one has the right to consider himself racially superior to others, and through this self-superiority thought, control the entire economy of the world. Currently, 10% of the world’s population uses 90% of the planet’s resources. On the other hand, 90% of the world’s population benefits from only 10%of the planet’s resources, which is a blatant injustice.”

Referring to the negligence of denouncing the Zionists’ crimes by some governments and individuals in the Islamic world, and even a few in the Islamic seminary, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Some people pride themselves on being indifferent to everything. While this is against the Quranic logic. In this regard, Imam Ali (a.s.) says, “کونا للظّالم خصماً و للمظلوم عوناً”. It means that we are constantly fighting against oppressors, and we will always support the oppressed in the world. Sometimes we see that an authoritarian government still exists and oppresses. But according to God’s promise, the control of the world will ultimately be inherited by the righteous.”

“The concept of “Resistance” is the comprehensive objective of all divine messengers. It is necessary to resist the supremacy preliminaries of an oppressive ruler or thought, which is in accordance with human Fitrah. If we just indifferent and constantly express our concern, like all international institutions, especially the UN Secretary-General, justice will never be realized in the world,” stated the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Referring to the 24 protocols of Zionism, the seminary and university professor added, “One of these protocols refers to the promised land of the Jews and their racial sovereignty over the rest of the people, in such a way that everyone must be a servant of Zionism. To achieve its goals, the Zionist regime spares nothing and even makes the massacre of children and women seem normal. In these 75 years, all the crimes of the Zionist regime showed that they have considered themselves to be the absolute right. As it is stated in the first paragraph of the 24^th protocol of the Zionist regime “right is always with force and power, and the one who has power is in the position of right”.”

Describing the playing victim and innocent by the Zionist regime, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Although the regime has nuclear bombs, no one has the right to criticize it. Meanwhile, Israel and its supporters consider Iran’s knowledge of peaceful nuclear technology as a crime. In Europe, no one has even the right to research the Holocaust and present a scientific argument against it. Because he will be fined and imprisoned. By controlling the media, the Zionist regime plays the victim and the innocent and uses its media empire to spread lies.”

“With 95% of the world’s media outlets under its control, the Zionist regime does not allow the world’s people to be informed about the events in Palestine. On my recent visit to Africa, this was proven to me firsthand,” continued the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Citing global statistics, Ayatollah Ramazani introduced the Zionist regime as the biggest violator of the approvals of international organizations. “Israel is a cancerous tumor, which if not stopped, will infect the whole world,” he added.

Calling for the recognition of Palestinian sovereignty, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Palestine should be completely governed by Palestinians. The Zionist regime, with the support of its huge wealth money, and military power, could occupy parts of Palestine, and it has continued its aggression until today. If the Resistance Axis does not stand against Zionism, we will witness these events in other countries of the region, and then it will spread to the whole world. Just like the ISIS terrorist group, which if not confronted, would terrorize the whole world.”

Referring to a speech of martyr Motahari, he said, “According to Martyr Motahari, if the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was present now, he would certainly have introduced the issue of Palestine as the first concern of the Islamic world. Seminaries, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the entire Islamic world must wake up and take a clear stand against the Zionist regime. In this situation, the silence of any Muslim is considered a betrayal of the Quran and Islam, and it is unforgivable. As the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, “مَنْ أَصْبَحَ و لا یَهْتَمُّ بِأُمورِ الْمُسْلمینَ فَلَیْسَ بِمُسْلِمٍ”. It means that anyone who wakes up and does not care about the Muslims’ affairs is not a Muslim.”

Emphasizing the humanitarian duty of the international community towards the oppression against Palestine, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Today, the world community should wake up and all world people should be informed about all the atrocities that have taken place in the contemporary world. Maintaining the honor and dignity of human beings depends on this important principle.”

Referring to a saying by Imam Ali (a.s.), this seminary professor said, “If people do not get out of ignorance, values will turn into counter-values, and nothing of human honor and dignity will remain. You can see that in America and Europe, by passing the law of homosexuality, they have degraded society and led the family to perversion, in order to prevent the movement of human beings towards a sublime and rational life and remain in a material and animal life.”

“The Zionist regime must be fully introduced to the world community so that the media outlets aligned with it cannot influence people’s minds by spreading lies. Muslims and Islamic communities must also stand against these crimes and take the necessary measures to practically confront this enemy,” he said at the end of his speech.
