Qom, Najaf seminaries complement each other: Ayatollah Ramazani/ Shiites were not allowed to grow scientifically during Ba’athist rule: Abazari

In a meeting with the cultural attaché of Iran in Iraq, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Previously, the seminary in Najaf had a strong comprehensiveness, and we hope it will return to its golden age.”

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and his accompanying delegation, who are in Iraq, visited the “Jameah al-Fatemiah”. Ayatollah Reza Ramazani delivered a speech to female professors and clergies of the institute. The “Jameah al-Fatemiah” School was established 14 years ago by Ayatollah Asefi, and is dedicated to Pakistani and Indian sisters from first grade to diploma (last year of high school) and seminary.

Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the accompanying delegation consists of the directors of the Assembly who accompany him in the travel to Iraq, met Hojat al-Islam Sayed Sadruddin Qobanchi, the Friday Prayer Leader of the Iraqi city of Najaf, an Iraqi member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. The meeting was also attended by Hojat al-Islam Pahlavanzadeh Behbahani, Chairman of the Iraqi Branch of the AhlulBayt World Assembly, Hojat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar, Deputy manager of Cultural Affairs, and Sayed Zaman Husseini, a member of the office of the international affairs of the Assembly. After meeting with Hojat al-Islam Qobanchi, the Secretary-General and his accompanying delegation visited the graves of the martyrs of the dark era of the Ba'ath party government, and the defenders of the holy shrines who fought against ISIL terrorists and paid tribute to them by reciting the Fatiha.

On Monday, May 31, 2021, during his visit to Iraq, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and his accompanying delegation, after meeting with Ayatollah Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini, Representative of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution in Iraq, visit the “Nour Al-Basaer” Institute in Najaf. During the visit, which was attended by Hujat al-Islam Ahmad Ahmadi Tabar, Deputy manager of Cultural Affairs, Abdul Reza Rashed, Deputy manager in Executive affairs of the Assembly, and Hojat al-Islam Pahlavanzadeh Behbahani, President of the AhlulBayt Assembly of Iraq; the director of the institute presented a report on its activities.
