AhlulBayt (a.s.) Int’l University ranked four in Iran Open RoboCup 2023
The team of students of AhlulBayt (a.s.) University won ranked four, as well as the creativity section of the Open RoboCup competition 2023.
ABWA Official Website – Mechatronics students of AhlulBayt (a.s.) University in the team Convoy, participated in the Self-Driving Car League in the Open RoboCup competition 2023, in the Islamic Azad University Science and Research Branch.
In this competition, which was held for three days and with the presence of 12 international teams, students of AhlulBayt (a.s.) University won the fourth place and the creativity section of the competition.
Self-driving car technology can reduce human error in road accidents, which is 90%, to zero. Also, public use of self-driving cars can save 50 minutes of drivers’ time per day.
It is worth mentioning that in line with its mission to help promote science and meet the general, research, and specialized needs of Muslim students and researchers, as well as empowering them, and helping to revive and expand Islamic culture and civilization, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University was established in 2004 as a limited postgraduate academic center, and in 2011 it became a comprehensive university, and since then it continued its activity.
