The sudden demise of a virtuous and innovative cleric, Hujat al-Islam Mohammad Hassan Rastgou, made us deeply sad and affected.

This artist and caring man was a preacher in the strict sense of the word, and with his unique preaching abilities and various arts, he taught the teachings of the Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.) and religious concepts appropriately to the new generation viz children and adolescents.

Perhaps he can be considered as the founder of preaching skills in the field of children and adolescents, who had a style in this field. He told the stories of prophets and men of God, religious precepts, behavioral training, and moral teachings in an attractive way for his audience.

Although the loss of this educated teacher will not be easily compensated, it is hoped that by following the example of his style and studying the educational works he has left in “Center for Training the Instructor for Children and Adolescents in the Islamic Propagation Office”, other artist preachers, not only in Iran but also in the global arena, will emerge and take the example of Hojat al-Islam Rastgou.

I offer my condolences on the demise of this serving and beloved scholar to Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Seminaries of Qom and Mashhad, students, friends, and all who remember the sweet memories of his programs, especially his dear children.

I pray Allah, the Almighty, to have mercy on the deceased, to reunite him with AhlulBayt (a.s.), and to grant patience and peace to all his companions and family members.

And "Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return" (Holy Quran 2:156)
