In a statement, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Lovers Assembly of Afghanistan emphasized, “Recent events have shown that Taliban security forces are incapable of curbing terrorist attacks. Therefore, it is necessary to ask for help from the people, especially those in charge of holding these ceremonies.”

The attack was the biggest terrorist crime since the Taliban came to power. While, before coming to power, the Taliban had promised the Afghan people and the international community to provide security and counter-ISIS and terrorist attacks.
