Arbaeen, great cultural, civilization platform: Ayatollah Ramazani
Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Arbaeen can present powerful content to the world. Pilgrims from more than 100 nationalities participated in the Arbaeen pilgrimage. We are witnessing the expansion of Arbaeen programs in different countries of the world, and walking ceremonies in memory of Arbaeen are held in different countries, with a large presence of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers. These cases are nothing but miracles.”
ABWA Official Website – The unveiling ceremony of the photo book “Arbaeen in 40 Countries of the World” and the exhibition “40 views of Arbaeen” with the aim of reflecting part of the activities of ABNA International News Agency during this year’s Arbaeen, was held with the presence of Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, a group of officials of Iran’s Arbaeen headquarters, and a number of educated religious and cultural figures.
In a speech at this ceremony, while referring to the value of serving Imam Hussein (a.s.), Ayatollah Ramazani said, “We are all servants of Imam Hussain (AS) and we consider this an honor for us.”
“We commemorate martyr Soleimani; a martyr whose establishment of the Headquarters for the Reconstruction of Holy Shrines was one of his initiatives. This headquarters did great work in the Holy Shrines of the Immaculate and Infallible Imams (a.s.),” he continued.
“We should not look at Arbaeen as just a pilgrimage,” Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “Arbaeen has become a movement, and it can play a role in building human movements. We need such literature today.”
“Ashura is a miracle, and Arbaeen is one of the miracles of Imam Hussain (a.s.). God wants to provide a platform for human prosperity in the world, in which Arbaeen cannot be ignored. Arbaeen can be looked at from a civilization point of view too. From the point of view of the verses of the Holy Quran, which says “The earth will be inherited by the oppressed”, Arbaeen can be a great cultural and civilization platform,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified.
“This year, pilgrims from more than 100 nationalities attended the Arbaeen ceremony, and ABNA News Agency could cover the news of 40 countries. This number should increase in the coming years. Looking at the Arbaeen pilgrimage from an aesthetic point of view, we can see that all its dimensions are beautiful. As Lady Zaynab (a.s.) said, “I saw nothing but beauty”, all aspects of Arbaeen are beautiful,” he continued.
“Arbaeen originates from a divine movement, which can play a role in the divine guidance of all humanity. Imam Hussain (a.s.) is a role model, and love for him is not exclusive to Shiites. Imam Hussain (a.s.) is a role model for all Muslims, followers of divine religions, and all humanity,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
Referring to the enemy’s plots, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “In the process of globalization, some try to take over the management of the world. We need strong content to promote the AhlulBayt (a.s.) discourse and present it through the media. Content like Arbaeen has not yet received a proper reflection in the media. All aspects of Arbaeen can become news, and every aspect of it can create a movement.”

While the West is trying to take spirituality from humanity and to achieve this goal, it spreads fake spirituality. There are now about four thousand fake spiritualities in the world. Fake spirituality promotes evading responsibility,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
Referring to the characteristics of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, Ayatollah Ramezani said, “Ziyarat Arbaeen is a volunteer Ziyarat, which comes with hardships, and it is not like the usual pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (a.s.).”
“Ziyarat Arbaeen should be studied under divine guidance. It is necessary for people to explain the front of right and identify the points of influence of the front of wrong. What we see today in the form of insulting the Holy Quran is due to the influence of this divine book, and it is the duty of the media and elites to explain this issue,” he continued.
