ABWA Official Website – On Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the memorial of martyrs of Matek village, in Fatemiah (a.s.) Mosque of the village, Tulem, Someh Sara, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “Divine prophets came throughout history to guide mankind and prevent them from going astray.”

“The Eastern Bloc wanted to destroy the whole of religion, and the West seeks to limit religion to individual spheres. During the 70-year rule of the Soviet Union, many mosques were closed, and no one was allowed to pray or go on the Hajj pilgrimage,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.

“Today, Islam stands against arrogance, and its teachings are promoted and taught in the most prestigious universities in the world,” he continued.

“Today, participating in the mourning ceremonies in the world is considered as one of the most important spiritual roles,” he added, “This is while the Western world wanted to shut down the Islamic world and religion.”

Referring to the holding of mourning ceremonies in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other European countries during Ashura, he noted, “By promoting Tatbir (self-flagellation and self-bloodletting as a ritual for mourning), global arrogance intends to show a harsh face of Islam and Ashura movement.”

“Islam educates a person in such a way that he has a reformist view towards society,” the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed, “Muslim societies should make the Quran their book of life and law.”

The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) paid the cost of teaching “لااله‌الاالله” (there is no god but Allah) so that mankind can become familiar with monotheism, and we can have a monotheistic and responsible society,” clarified the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Iran’s Islamic Revolution has reached such a level of power in the world that it does not allow insulting the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and the Quran. Swedish and Danish governments will definitely pay for insulting the Quran,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.

“The transgressive people insult Imam Hussain (a.s.) in the worst way. All over the world, if someone insults Islam like Salman Rushdie, he will have a bitter and troubled life,” he continued.

“The late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) taught us responsible religion. The great work of the martyrs was to revive religion and a sense of responsibility in people,” stated the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly at the end of his speech.
