Transgressive people seek desecration in society: Ayatollah Ramazani

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, “Today, transgressive people are looking for desecration in society. They should know that if someone insults Islam, like Salman Rushdie, he will have a bitter and troubled life.”

ABWA Official Website – On Friday morning, July 21, 2023, during the mourning ceremony on the morning of the third day of Muharram at the holy shrine of Lady Fatima Ukhra (a.s.) in Rasht, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani said, “No one has scientific and spiritual superiority over Immaculate Imams (a.s.). Even the great Sunni ulama have acknowledged the scientific and spiritual authority of AhlulBayt (a.s.).” 

The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, “We have to pay for what we believe in, and we pay for the faith and belief in Islam in the world.”

“The Eastern Bloc argued that ‘religion is mankind’s opium’. While the West argues, ‘Because there was no science, people turn to religion.’ The East was trying to destroy the foundation of religion, and the West is trying to constrain it. All in all, the West and the East are trying to ensure that there is no sanctity left in the world,” he added.

“During the time of Imam Hussain (a.s.), desecration was prevalent, and today, the transgressive people are looking for desecration in society in a different way,” he said.

“There is no religious zeal in a secular society, while in a religious society, there is,” Ayatollah Ramazani added, “A society that has religious zeal reacts to the desecration of the Quran.”

“The enemy’s plan is to promote nudity in society. The enemy wants to implement and institutionalize the Andalusianization project, that is, promoting debauchery, and vices,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“The transgressive people want there to be no sacred things in society. They mock the enjoining good and some deceived people accompany them,” he clarified.

“Today, the West has reached a spiritual and intellectual crisis and does not want God to be in the minds of people. Imam Hussain (a.s.) is a truth for knowing God and a perfect model for all humanity,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.

“If God is in human life, that life will have meaning, and if there is no God, religion, rationality, and spirituality in human life, there is nothing left for man,” he said in the end.
