In his blessed, ascetic, divine, and Wilayi life, under the auspicious of the favors of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), this honorable Alem and hardworking author and bibliographer could author dozens of valuable and great books, introducing and promoting the teachings of Islam and the AhlulBayt (a.s.).

ABWA Official Website – In a message, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed his condolences on the demise of the honorable Alem and distinguished researcher, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Muhammad Mahdi Mousavi Al-Khersan in Najaf.

Ayatollah Reza Ramazani’s message is as follows:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

إِذَا مَاتَ الْعَالِمُ ثُلِمَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ثُلْمَةٌ لَا يَسُدُّهَا شَيْءٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ.

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h): “Whenever an Alem (Islamic Scholar) passes away, there is an irreparable breach in Islam that nothing will cover it until the Day of Judgment.”

We learn about the demise of Grand Ayatollah Sayed Muhammad Mahdi Al-Khersan, who was the virtuous remaining of the past dignitaries.

This honorable Alem and hardworking author and bibliographer, who has success to be a student in the classes of the Grand Ayatollahs Sayed Abu al-Qasim Khoei, Sayed Muhsen al-Hakim, Sheikh Agha Bozorg Tehrani, Syed Abdul Ali Sabzevari (May God have mercy on them all), had permission to narrate hadith, and in his blessed, ascetic, divine, and Wilayi life, under the auspicious of the favors of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), he could author dozens of valuable and great books, introducing and promoting the teachings of Islam and the AhlulBayt (a.s.). His lasting works, such as the 21-volume collection of “Abdullah Bin Abbas Encyclopedia” and the book “Ali Imam of the Virtuous”, which is a description of an ode about the Imamate of Imam Ali (a.s.), will certainly be his remnants of righteousness.

I would like to express my condolences on the tragic loss and great sadness of the demise of this divine scholar to Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, grand sources of emulation, seminaries, especially Najaf Seminary, ulama, and bereaved family members of that blessed deceased, especially to his scholar son, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Muhammad Saleh al-Khersan. I pray for elevated degrees, and reunion with God’s friends and the righteous for the deceased, and beautiful patience and abundant reward for his honorable family.

انا لله و انا الیه راجعون
