Man, most important being in universe: Ayatollah Ramazani
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Man is the most important being in the universe and must reach self-knowledge properly.”
During his visit to Lebanon, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met with the elite and students of Rezvan University.
In the visit to Rezvan University, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly first gave a speech and then a question-and-answer session was held with the youth.
In his speech addressing the Rezvan University Students, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “You, young people are at the best stage of life to grow and excel. In the book “Sharh Chehel Hadith” (Commentary on Forty Hadiths) Imam Khomeini (r.a.) said “Youth is an opportunity for self-improvement”. The most important goal of knowledge is to close you to God.”
“On knowledge, a philosopher named René Guénon said, “Knowledge can bring man closer to God”. Some believe that reason has nothing to do with religion. While we believe that religion is the same as reason, and reason is the same as religion, and anyone who has no reason has no religion. Man is the most important being in the universe and must reach self-knowledge properly. If man knows himself, he will know his God,” he continued.
“According to the hadiths, the “ignorance” is the opposite of the “reason”. A Hadith said, “Whoever does not turn away from ignorance will not know his God”. According to a scholar, the human problem consists of three parts, “The first problem is breaking up with himself, the second problem is breaking up with God, and the third is breaking up with others”, and he considers the solution in three things: “Reconciliation with oneself, reconciliation with God, and reconciliation with other human beings”, added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
I suggest that the description of the letter of Imam Ali (a.s.) to his son Imam Hassan (a.s.) be presented as one of the courses of Rezvan University, in order to explain the duties of a young man in this course. If this letter is read correctly and acted upon, man will attain knowledge. Today, the soldiers of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) must refine and train themselves to achieve the goal,” he mentioned.
At the end of the visit of Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly of to Rezvan University, a question-and-answer session was held in the presence of a group of elites and students of the university, and in a cordial atmosphere, the youth talked to Ayatollah Ramazani about ways to attain divine knowledge and self-purification.
