Muslim women should pay attention to their exceptional role in the present age: Ifaf al-Hakim
The Lebanese Hezbollah’s head of women’s affairs said, “In the new stage that we are facing, we Muslim women must pay attention to the challenges that surround society, and to the exceptional role we play due to our relationship with Lady Zahra (a.s.).”
On the birth anniversary of Lady Zahra (a.s.) and Women’s Week, the first virtual and international meeting of women followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) with the officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Referring to the birth anniversary of Lady Zahra (a.s.), Ifaf Al-Hakim, the Lebanese Hezbollah’s head of women’s affairs, said at the meeting, “The 20th of Jumada al-Thani, the birthday of Lady Zahra (a.s.), is a great and brilliant day that is important in our thoughts, beliefs, history and future as an Islamic nation Ummah. God blessed us on the 20th of Jumada al-Thani with the birth of the Lady of the Worlds, who is a model for humanity. AhlulBayt (a.s.) are precious beings who make our lives prosperous.”
“On the birthday of Lady Zahra (a.s.), we realize the result of the various dimensions of our reliance on the school, the way, patience, and sacrifice of this noble lady, and we understand the result of following and divine communication that leads to the promotion of human beings,” she continued.
“The change for the women was started by the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and this change reached its peak when Lady Zahra (a.s.) was chosen as the master of women and the role model of women for her time and all times. On the birthday of Lady Zahra (a.s.), we should pay attention to the love that has been instilled in us from birth toward the AhlulBayt (a.s.) and focus our thoughts and souls on fulfilling the mission that Lady Zahra (a.s.) has defined for us,” added the head of women’s affairs of Lebanese Hezbollah.
“The eyes of the people of the world are fixed on the men who participated in the sacred defense (Iraq-Iran imposed war) and the Axis of Resistance, who created an epic with their presence. We, world people, witnessed the roaring sea and millions of people at the funerals of Martyr Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes and their companions,” Al-Hakim said, referring to the world view of the Resistance Axis.
“In the new stage that we are facing, we Muslim women must pay attention to the challenges that surround society, and to the exceptional role we play due to our relationship with Lady Zahra (a.s.),” she continued.
“Peace be upon all the heroes of the resistance and the fathers, mothers and wives of the families of the martyrs and the wounded. Peace be upon all the women who are in Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Islamic Republic of Iran and who spent their lives in the service and walked in the path of Lady Zahra (a.s.) to pave the way for the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.),” noted the director of the Social Assignment Institute of Lebanon.
