The 6^th International Arbaeen Pilgrimage Scientific Seminar was started by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in cooperation with Iraqi institutions and universities.

The director of the Center for Studies and Research of Karbala stated, “The 6^th international Seminar of Arbaeen will be held with the presence of the presidents of Iraqi universities.”

The Holy Cellar or Cellar of the Occultation is the basement of the house of Imam Hassan Askari (a.s.), which is located in the northwest of the Holy Shrine of the two Askari Imams (a.s.) in Samarra. The sanctity of this place among Shiites is because it was the house of Imam Hadi (a.s.), Imam Hassan Askari (a.s.) and Imam Mahi (a.s.).

After the pilgrimage ceremony of Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), the holy shrine of two Askari Imams (a.s.) in Samarra hosted the Arbaeen pilgrims.

During the Arbaeen Great Walk, while attending the AhlulBayt (a.s.) University of Karbala, in front of pillar No. 833 of Najaf-Karbala road, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, visited the activities of the university during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. After visiting the clinic of Yas Nabawi Mowkeb, which was set up in cooperation with the university to serve Arbaeen pilgrims, he participated in the appreciation ceremony of the jihadi (volunteer) doctors of this Mowkeb. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Sayed Mohsen Qazvini, a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and University President, Hojat al-Islam Pahlevanzadeh Behbahani, President of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq, and Hojat al-Islam Sayed Mohammad Reza Mirtajodini, a representative of Tabriz in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

Webinar “Arbaeen and Islamic Civilization” will be held today by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in cooperation with cultural institutions.

On the day of Arbaeen, the shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Karbala is the meeting place of millions of the enthusiasts of that Imam who have come to this area from different parts of the world. The grave of Martyr Sayed Mustafa Khomeini is located in the shrine of Imam Ali (a.s.), next to the grave of Mohammad Hossein Gharavi Esfahani, known as the “company”. After the pilgrimage of Imam Ali (a.s.), pilgrims come to the rave of martyr Mustafa Khomeini and recite Surah Fatiha.
