2nd scientific meeting of the “Umana al-Rosol” conference in Karbala
The second scientific meeting of the “Umana al-Rosol” conference was held in holy shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.).
The second scientific meeting of the “Umana al-Rosol” (Trustees of the Messengers) conference was held in holy shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.).
At the beginning of the meeting, Mushtaq Muzaffar, the director of Imam Hussain (a.s.) Assembly, and the head of the executive committee of the Scientific Conference of the “Umana al-Rosol” in Iraq, said, “The Conference honoring Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Mahdi Musawi Al-Khersan will be held on October 7, 2022, in Iraq. This meeting was the second scientific meeting of the conference, the first of which was held in Najaf.”
“The plan to hold a scientific conference “Umana al-Rosol” (Trustees of the Messengers) was formed at the management center if the seminaries in the holy city of Qom. Then, to cooperate and participate in this scientific conference, the center invited the holy shrines of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and Imam Ali (a.s.),” he continued.
“This conference has put the honoring of the scientific personality of Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Mahdi Musawi Al-Khersan on its agenda, and the publication of the encyclopedia of the works of this wise scholar, in the form of 50 volumes, is among the activities of the secretariat of this conference,” added the director of Imam Hussain (a.s.) Assembly.
Dr. Abbas Faham, a thinker at the University of Kufa, said, “In this scientific conference, three research articles on the history of narration and written-historical literature of Ayatollah Khersan will be presented.”
The other speaker of this scientific conference was Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Haidar Sahlani, who emphasized the participation of the two seminaries of Najaf and Karbala in introducing the teachings of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) through Ulama (religious scholars) in these scientific meetings.
