The statement of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is as follows:

In the name of the Lord of the martyrs and the righteous

We were still mourning the loss of the pupils, students, and dear children of the Islamic Ummah in the terrorist attacks of the “Kabul Tebyan Center”, “Sayed Al-Shohada School of Dasht Barchi” and “Shiite mosques in Kunduz and Kandahar”, but those tragedies renewed with another tragedy.

This year, like the holy month of Ramadan last year, the enemies of God and the people attacked the oppressed Shiite schools in Kabul, killing many people. Where can we complain that the target of these crimes were innocent children and teenagers.

Expressing sympathy and solidarity with the dear people of Afghanistan, especially the families of the victims of the tragedy, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly strongly denounced it and calls for those who order and perpetrators of such barbaric attacks to be punished.

Reiterating the need for unity between Shiites and Sunnis and all races and ethnic groups in Afghanistan, the Assembly calls on the country’s rulers to ensure, as previously promised, the security of scientific, educational, cultural, and religious sites of the country’s Shiites.

The suicide bombings of the past few months, which have mostly targeted Shiites, show that the Afghan government is not only ineffective in solving the people’s economic problems, but also incapable of securing them.

The rulers of Afghanistan can certainly overcome such problems if they seek the help of the ulama and the Shiite people of the country to protect their communities and create security in their areas.

Afghanistan’s development and reconstruction is only possible with peace and security, and security and stability can only be achieved if a comprehensive government based on the consent of all ethnic groups and religions rules the country.

Finally, for the great tragedy of the loss of the innocent children of the two schools “Momtaz” and “Abdurrahim Shahid”, we extend our deepest condolences to Imam Mahdi (a.s.) as well as to the Muslim Ummah, the suffering people of Afghanistan and the families of the victims, and we ask God for the martyrs, companionship with the saints of God, and for the injured to be healed immediately.

وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ

“And the wrongdoers will soon know at what goal they will end up.” (Holy Quran, Surah: Ash-Shu'ara, Verse: 227)
