Analysis of Al-Aqsa Storm Operation, developments in Palestine by Chairman of ABWA’s Supreme Council
The head of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Hamas entered this war with calculation, while it was familiar with the crimes of the Zionist regime, and it was aware of this situation. But the crimes of this child-killing regime made them determined to start the Al-Aqsa storm operation.”
ABWA Official Website – In the special meeting of representatives of the clergy and clerics of Qom seminary about Palestine in the conference hall of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, Ayatollah Muhammad Hassan Akhtari, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, while mentioning the issue of Palestine and verse 39 of Surah al-Hajj stated, “In this verse, Almighty God said, “أُذِنَ لِلَّذِینَ یُقاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا وَ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلی نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِیرٌ” (Those who are fought against are permitted [to fight] because they have been wronged, and Allah is indeed able to help them)”.”
“Today, with the crimes and child murders by Israel, the oppression of Palestine and the people of Gaza have been proven to the world, so that the people of the world are supporting them uniquely and remarkably, which is commendable. In Islamic Iran also, we see interest, love, epic and passion for the Palestinian nation, and the registration of millions to campaign for presence in Palestine shows this love and enthusiasm,” noted the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
Referring to the issue of the legitimacy of the resistance, the head of the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People stated, “According to Islamic instructions, it is necessary and obligatory for those whose homes and lives are attacked by the enemy to defend themselves. This shows the legitimacy of resistance and defense in the Islamic view.”
“For more than 70 years, the evil tree of Israel has been planted in the heart of the Islamic world and in Palestine to stand in front of the Islamic society and to create discord among the Muslim Ummah,” Ayatollah Akhtari stated.
Analyzing the behavior of Western countries these days, he expressed, “My analysis is that America and Britain are seeing that the destruction of Israel is imminent, and they are afraid of losing this base in the heart of the Islamic world.”
In response to why Hamas entered this war despite all the casualties and damages, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly noted, “Hamas entered this war with calculation, while it was familiar with the crimes of the Zionist regime, and it was aware of this situation. But the crimes of this child-killing regime made them determined to start the Al-Aqsa storm operation.”
Referring to the movements in Palestine, he said, “One of the movements in Palestine is the Palestinian National Authority and Fatah, which have entered negotiation with Israel since 1979 and has signed an agreement with the regime. But it has no benefit for them in any way, and they are completely under the rule of Israel.”
The head of the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People stated, “Other movements are the Palestinian Jihadi groups that were established before the Islamic Jihadi Movement, and failed to do the essential work as they should. But after the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Islamic movement grew in Palestine and the Islamic Jihad Council moved with the ideas of the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.). Since then, the Palestinian issue changed completely, especially after Israel’s defeat of Lebanese Hezbollah (in the Tammuz War of 2006, or as Israelis call it: the Second Lebanon War), they believed that they could defeat Israel.”
“These victories are thanks to Islam and Islamic thought; a true version of Islam that is derived from Imam Hussain (a.s.) school, and the martyr General Soleimani was very effective in its expansion, so that after the general’s martyrdom, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political office, said three times: Martyr Soleimani is a martyr of Quds,” Ayatollah Akhtari stated.
“The crimes of the Zionist regime are not just for today, but from the very beginning of the occupation of Palestine, the regime has started its crimes against the Palestinian people, and it has not adhered to any of the international resolutions. The regime has even planned to transfer the Palestinian people out of the country, to completely Judaize the Palestinian land,” he expressed.
“The danger of Israel is not only for the Palestinian people, but for the entire Islamic world, and the regime must vanish from the world,” emphasized the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Everyone must know that in the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation, Israel did not gain any victory, and according to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, their defeat is irreparable in terms of military and security,” stated the head of the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People.
“The Palestinians intend to continue and are determined to continue, and everyone should help them. Demonstrations and issuing statements are good, but they are not enough, and financial aid should go to Palestine so that they can achieve their goal,” Ayatollah Akhtari stated.
Referring to the second verse of Surah al-Hashr, the head of the Supreme Council of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) World Assembly noted, “We all must help Palestine so that God’s promise in the following verse is fulfilled: “يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُمْ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَيْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ” (They demolish their houses with their own hands and the hands of the faithful.)”
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is the main supporter of Palestine. We should all obey the order of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, this wise politician, and knowledgeable sage, and act according to his instructions,” said the head of the Committee for the Support of the Islamic Revolution of the Palestinian People at the end of his speech.
