Brilliance, beauty of Shia seen more in world: Shojai
The representative of the people of Abhar in the Islamic Consultative Assembly said, “Shia will become brighter and more beautiful in the world, including in the West, and the efforts of the enemies of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) to confront it are in vain.”
On Saturday, March 5, 2022, on the first anniversary of Hojat al-Islam Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari, the specialized conference “The situation of Shia in the West” was held.
In this conference, referring to the impact of the victory of the Islamic Revolution on the Shiite school, the representative of the people of Abhar in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated, “The Islamic Revolution of Iran marked a new chapter for Shiism around the world. Among the topics that can be studied with the Islamic Revolution are Shia in Iran, Shia in the Islamic world, and Shia in the Western world. The political conflict of the Islamic Revolution with Western civilization, and the fate that this political conflict will have, will affect the situation of Shia in the West. The political breeze of the Islamic Revolution created a new chapter in Shia in the West, and seeing the political light of the Islamic Revolution, some of the free people of the world converted to Shia. This topic can be studied in the Western world and various research can be done on its examples.”
“The cultural light of the Islamic Revolution was able to draw hearts to itself. Some in the Western world, seeing the cultural dimensions of the Islamic Revolution, converted to the Shiite school. Our divine scholars, such as the late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sayed Mughtada Hosseini Abhari, with their effective actions in the Western world, succeeded in inviting some people to Shia and placing them among the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school,” Hojat al-Islam Dr. Hassan Shojai continued.
“The events that took place in the cultural field, such as the activities of the late Martyr Beheshti in Germany, led to the formation of cultural infrastructure in the West by our great scholars and true believers in the AhlulBayt (a.s.). With the destiny of the political conflict between the Islamic Revolution and the West, these cultural roots will bear much fruit,” added the representative of the people of Abhar in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
“Sometimes, by propagating Shia, either using the political light of the Islamic Revolution or using its cultural light, some people become believers in the AhlulBayt (a.s.). Sometimes we have to manage the mentality and image that is formed in the minds of Westerners of the Shiite school. The activities of great scholars such as the late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari are very effective in shaping the correct mentality of the Shiite school in the minds of Westerners. The enemies of the AhlulBayt (a.s.), both in the Western world and in the Islamic world, try to present a confused, violent, and ugly image of the religion of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) all over the world.,” Shojaei stated, referring to the fruitful role of the late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari in the West.
“The presence of great scholars such as the late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari and other scholars active in the West, helped the image formed of Shia to be correct and accurate. This was a very important mission that was entrusted to these loved ones. The presence of these true scholars and believers in the Western world and their activities to introduce the school of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) will surely help to gradually correct the image formed in the Western world of Shia. It will set aside the thick veils that the enemies of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) created, and the beautiful and attractive face of Shia in the Western world will be manifested more than ever. This mentality and image that will be formed of the Shiites in the minds of the Western world will affect the political conflict between the Islamic Revolution and the West, as well as the infrastructure that is being created by the Ulama in the Western world,” he continued.
“We should be grateful for the activities of people like the late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari in the West. The effects of such activities will be seen in the near and distant future. We are confident that with the grace of God for us, and the Islamic Revolution that he gave us, Shia will become more and more shiny and beautiful in the world, including in the West, and the efforts of the enemies of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) to confront it are in vain. With the efforts of our divine scholars in the West, that beautiful face will gradually become evident and will shape a bright future for the Shiite school in the West. It will also provide a way of salvation for the Western man who lives in the social life and the realm of government, which is cut off from the heaven, and will be the salvation prescription for the Western man in the Western world,” added the representative of the people of Abhar in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
“The demise of the late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari was a great loss for Abhar. God willing, we will see that the path of the deceased in cultural and scientific activities will continue, both in Iran and in other countries,” he mentioned.
It should be mentioned that the commemoration of late Hojat al-Islam Haj Sayed Moghtada Hosseini Abhari, and the specialized conference “The situation of Shia in the West” was held virtually by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the Imam Ali (a.s.) Center of Lugano, and the Office for the Defense of the Rights of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers in Switzerland.
University of Religions and Islamic Denominations, Swiss International Association for the Religions Studies, AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency - ABNA, Foundation for Iran-Netherlands Friendship and Developing Relations, Islamic and Cultural Foundation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Geneva, Europersia University of International Interaction, Secretariat of Iranian Theologians, Coordination of Islamic Organizations in Switzerland (KIOS), Islamic Confederation of Shiites in Italy, Al-Bayan Institution for Connection and Establishing, The World Center for Shiite Studies, AhlulBayt (a.s.) Islamic Cultural Center of Zurich, Imam Ali Cultural Center of Milan, and Scientific Association of Shiite sects, participated in the conference.
