While respecting the boundaries, women can participate in social arenas: Ayatollah Ramazani
The Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “According to the Quranic verses, women can achieve excellence just like men. The women of the society should believe in themselves and participate in social arenas while maintaining the boundaries of communication between the mahram and the non-mahram.”
ABWA Official Website – On Sunday evening, December 17, 2023, at the martyrdom ceremony of Lady Zahra (a.s.) in Lahijan Grand Mosque, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Such gatherings are the classes of Lady Fatimah (a.s.) school. No matter how much time we spend to get to know this sublime school, it is still not enough.”
“Lady Zahra (a.s.) is the best role model for everyone. Lady Fatimah (a.s.) is a complete and comprehensive example for the entire humanity in piety, asceticism, support for Velayat, and fighting against oppression,” emphasized the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Lady Zahra (a.s.) has spiritual and material dimensions, and it is difficult for us to know these two dimensions. The most special respect of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) was for Lady Zahra (a.s.),” he added.
“In the Holy Quran, there are 300 verses regarding women in the Surahs of Al-Kawthar, An-Nisa, etc. In different wars, Lady Zahra (a.s.) was the nurse of her father, the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h),” Ayatollah Ramazani noted.
“The greater the servitude to God, the greater the divine tests for man,” he emphasized.
“According to the Quranic verses, women can achieve excellence just like men. The women of the society should believe in themselves and participate in social arenas while maintaining the boundaries of communication between the mahram and the non-mahram,” stated the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Affection between family members can consolidate the foundation of the family. Men and women complement each other and reach perfection together,” he said.
Expressing regret over the high number of divorces in some provinces, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Political views and consumerism in the home environment are some of the harms families are dealing with.”
“We must try to change our perspectives. With the rule of human view in the family and respect for each other’s rights, differences will decrease,” he emphasized.
At the end of his speech, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The greatest divine test for Lady Zahra (a.s.) was to support the friend of God, Imam Ali (a.s.). The lives of Imam Ali (a.s.) and Lady Zahra (a.s.) were full of helping the poor, sacrifice, and selflessness.”
