Imam Khomeini (r.a.) taught us resistance, remaining revolutionary: Ayatollah Ramazani
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Believing in God, path, goal and ummah, Imam Khomeini (r.a.) initiated the great movement of the Islamic Revolution. He taught us resistance and remaining revolutionary.”
On Saturday evening, June 4, 2022, at the commemoration ceremony of the martyrs of Rahimaabad city in Rudsar county, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “The martyrs were students of Imam Khomeini’s school. Imam’s school is a comprehensive school. We have not properly understood Imam Khomeini’s position, and his character will be better known to future generations.”
Dedicating a course on study about Imam Khomeini (a.s.) should be taken seriously in our schools, scientific centers, and seminaries. The Islamic Revolution of Iran was a great event that occurred in the present age, and no one believed it would happen,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“The world’s intellectuals and politicians had never imagined that a revolution would take place which throw the imperial regime to the ash heap of the history. Of course, there is a long way to go to perfect the objectives, and to implement Islam comprehensively,” he clarified.
“Believing in God, path, goal and ummah, Imam Khomeini (r.a.) initiated the great movement of the Islamic Revolution. Imam Khomeini (r.a.) appeared among the people with these beliefs and restored the dignity of the Iranian nation,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.
Referring to the fact that today the Muslims of the world have a honorable life, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts pointed out, “In the major universities in the West, Islam is being seriously studied, and it is referred to as a complete and inclusive religion.”
“The Umayyads and the Abbasids used religion as a tool of power. This is while religion is a tool to guide human society, not to gain power and wealth,” he stated.
Ayatollah Ramazani continued to say, “Hajj is like an international exhibition for Muslims that the enemy has not allowed it to be seen and prevents the power of Islam to be displayed. They have divided the Muslim countries, and they are looting the wealth of the Muslim.”
“If Muslim countries were united today, they could be the greatest political, economic and cultural power and dominate Western culture. Today, however, they are under enemy attack,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“The enemy, using cyberspace, has targeted the religiosity of our young generation,” Ayatollah Ramazani argued, “It has been concluded for the enemies that to influence the Islamic Revolution of Iran, they must change the culture and take the religion from the younger generation.”
“The enemy is trying to prevent the young generation from participating in social arenas and destroy their motivation to participate in their destiny. The enemy is fighting against spirituality,” emphasized the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
Referring to the fact that about four thousand fake spiritualities have been invented in the world, he said, “Fake spirituality is created to oppose religious spirituality.”
Referring to prayers, supplications to God, fasting and sincerity, as the foundations of Islamic spirituality, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Today, the West promotes Godless mysticism and spirituality.”
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “The enemy is trying to get our girls and women to remove the hijab, and to promote promiscuity and debauchery in the Islamic society. Indonesia, with 225 million Muslim population, has no Islamic government. 30% of the people of the country are below the poverty line to the extent that some sell their children. This is the result of the animosity of the West against the Muslim ummah.”
“In the Pahlavi regime, students and professors who prayed were ridiculed at the university,” he clarified, “The Pahlavi dynasty was not zealous for religion and religious teachings.”
“By arrogance and coercion, the United States and the evil Zionist regime have nuclear warheads. Using its veto power, the United States vetoes any UN resolution that is not in its favor. This is domination seeking! The Iranian nation is confronting these oppressors and tyrants,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.
“Relying on the eternal power of God, Imam Khomeini (r.a.) stood against the oppressors, and then created military power, missile defense and so on,” added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
“Imam Khomeini’s thought has become international. The anthem “Salute Commander”, which was accompanied by children and welcomed by various segments of society, introduces a major international movement with the concept of readiness for the Reappearance (of Imam Mahdi (a.s.)), to save the world from oppression,” he said.
“The Great Arbaeen Walk for Imam Hussain (a.s.) is the largest spiritual gathering in the world,” Ayatollah Ramazani continued to say, “The West, meanwhile, has boycotted this great gathering. The media dictatorship does not allow the news of this great event to be spread to the world.”
Referring to the hardships that the country is facing due to foreign sanctions, as well as some negligence of the officials, the Secretary -General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “An economic surgery is underway in the country. We also need competent, potent, sympathetic, faithful, and jihadi managers in the judiciary, the executive and the legislature.”
“Today, we need Mojahed people who can properly enlighten about the achievements of the Islamic Revolution,” he added.
“For the Islamic Revolution, the most honorable souls have been sacrificed; great figures such as martyrs Beheshti, Bahonar, Saduqi, Motahhari and Ehsanbakhsh were sacrificed to the path of the Revolution,” Ayatollah Ramazani emphasized.
The representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts pointed out, “The Islamic Revolution has been entrusted to us as a great trust. We must avoid negligence in our duties. Imam Khomeini (r.a.) taught us the lesson of resistance and staying revolutionary. Continuing the path as a revolutionary is more important than the work of those who participated in the revolution.”
“The enemy is plotting to spread despair and division, and in return we must plan to build hope and unite the people,” he stated, while warning that today the enemy uses all means to underestimate the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
Noting that high prices have put pressure on the people, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “To get through this time with the least difficulty, the government’s economic team needs to be efficient. Also, the government must be given time to get the country out of trouble.”
In the end, considering the Islamic Revolution as the most significant divine blessing in which the martyrs played an important role, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “If it were not for the martyr holy shrine defenders, we would have had to fight ISIS inside our country.”
