Martyr Soleimani opened new, brilliant chapter for Resistance: Velayati
A member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “With sincerity and righteous action on the battlefield, Martyr Soleimani opened a new and brilliant chapter for the resistance.”
ABWA Official Website – With the message of Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati, a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the international conference “Martyr General Soleimani from the perspective of dignitaries of denominations and religions” was held.
At the beginning of his message, after greeting and welcoming the guests, Dr. Velayati pointed out the role of General Soleimani in awakening the people of the region and reviving the Resistance Front, and offering his condolences for the martyrdom of some people in the “vicious and terrorist act in Kerman”, he congratulated the people of Palestine and Gaza on the victories of the Resistance Front against the “child-killing Zionist regime.”
Stating that “the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was a turning point in raising awareness among the deprived and the oppressed of the world,” Velayati said, “Enemies of the Revolution, understanding the ideological position of the uprising of the great people of Iran under the leadership of the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) and the innovate message of this discourse, designed and implemented thousands of plans and plots to counter this enlightened and divine movement during the last 45 years, and their most important and first action was to impose an all-out military war by using all their forces against the steely will of the revolutionary people of Iran. The sacred defense of the Iranian people led to the training of people for the continuation of the Islamic Revolution in history. During the Holy Defense, the school of pure Islam and the two imams of the Islamic Revolution of Iran presented great people on the path of the Revolution and Islamic Awakening. Martyr Soleimani is definitely considered a distinguished and outstanding student of this school, who is the owner of a new school called “Martyr Soleimani School” according to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution. For 40 years, from the lowest to the highest levels of the Resistance Front, Martyr Soleimani diligently struggled, and the result of this ceaseless jihad is the strengthening of the initial cores of the resistance and turning it into a powerful front in the international system.”
Referring to the 2006 Lebanon war, known as the 33-Day War, Velayati said, “The 33-Day war between Hezbollah and the Zionist regime should be considered as the starting point of the new season of resistance and raising awareness among the nations of the region. With sincerity and righteous action on the battlefield, Martyr Soleimani opened a new and brilliant chapter for the resistance. When the Lebanese Hezbollah stood and resisted against a formidably armed army for more than a month and won, the trapped and oppressed people believed in the fact that with endurance and resistance, this sham regime, or any ungodly and arrogant will, could be defeated and brought to the knees. Also, the Palestinian resistance groups, who witnessed 50 years of humiliation and lies from this fake regime, after the successful pattern of defeating the usurping regime, disrupted decades of one-sided war and violence and step by step improved the power of their faith and action. As far as we can say, the defensive doctrine of Resistance has turned into an intelligent preemptive doctrine against aggression and occupation, and this is definitely the result of years of struggle and sacrifice of thousands of Resistance soldiers, martyr Soleimani is at the peak of these sacrifices.”
“Martyr Soleimani’s religious and interfaith view was based on faith in Quranic teachings based on honoring humanity. His behavior and actions towards minorities, and defending them, especially breaking the siege of Amerli and realizing the rights of Kurdish, Yazidi, Turkmen, and Christian minorities indicated his approach regardless of ethnicity, race, and religion; so that his struggle in defending the existence of human beings and minorities without religious or religious perspective, saved countless innocent people. Martyr Soleimani’s perspective was regardless of ethnic, racial, religious, and geographical differences and based on the Quranic belief in honoring human beings and religious obligation in response to the call of oppressed people. He rose with such a powerful approach to the war against ISIS and the Takfiri movements, which were acting on behalf of America and international Zionism, and turned all the plans and strategies of the enemy into failure. He fought with arrogance regardless of any factional, religious, ethnic, and national affiliation,” he added.
“Even though he was Iranian, he is considered a prominent non-Iranian figure who played a fundamental and strategic role in liberating Islamic lands from the Takfiri and Zionism usurpers. So that it was popular and comprehensive among the Islamic schools, from the Twelve Shiism to the Zaidiyyah, and the Sunni schools. Regardless of religion and religious schools, he defended various minorities in the region, from Syrian Christians to Iraqi Chaldean Christians, and at the same time, he played an unparalleled role in protecting and defending the people living in the West. Because his efforts are a serious and obvious obstacle against the infiltration of Takfiris and terrorists into the West, especially Europe,” Velayati expressed.
At the end of his message, while expressing his gratitude to the organizers of the conference, the member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “I wish that we will always and continuously walk in the lofty and bright path of this mujahid martyr in the fight against arrogance and colonialism. I also wish the resistance front, the dear people of Gaza, and all the Muslims of the world success and increasing victory.”
