The text of the message of Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The demise of an honorable friend, dear brother, longtime companion, and a servant cleric "hojjat al-Islam Najafi Rouhani", representative of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in the office of Iraq, caused great grief and regret.

For many years, the blessed deceased served the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic in various social, religious, scientific, and academic fields.

Also, his efforts to serve the pilgrims of Mecca and Medina shrines as well as the holy shrines of Imams in Iraq will help him before God.

I offer my condolences for the demise of this pious and committed cleric to his honorable family, his friends, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj affairs, and his colleagues.

I pray God, the Almighty, to join the soul of this dear man to his benefactors (AhlulBayt) (a.s.) and grant patience and peace to his family.

And "Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return" (Holy Quran 2:156)
