Sultan al-Waezin successful in debate, rhetoric: Nazari Monfared
The professor of Qom seminary said, “The late Sultan al-Waezin was successful in the rhetoric and debate, and his works, including “Peshawar Nights”, are testaments to this.”
To commemorate the late Sultan Al-Waezin Shirazi, one of the Mujahed Ulama, the conference “Awakeners 3” was held on February 28, 2022, in in the Ghadir Conference Hall in Qom by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and related institutions.
In this conference, while congratulating the anniversary of the Mab’ath of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), Hojat al-Islam Ali Nazari Monfared said, “The art of debate is one of the most important and accepted techniques in Islam. Also, the manners of the Infallible Imams (a.s.) show that the debate is completely acceptable, provided that it is without any disrespect.”
“The technic and art of debate are the necessities of debate. The late Sultan al-Waezin was successful in both rhetoric and debate, and his works, including the book Peshawar Nights, is a testament to this fact,” he added.
