The “Ghadir Khumm Event” has chapters follows:

The first chapter gives a summary of the event of Ghadir and the sermon of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) according to the commonalities of the Islamic Ummah. The second chapter examines how this event survived and continued throughout the history Islam. The third chapter examines the narrators of Hadith of Ghadir and how the hadith is recurrent. In this chapter, the confession of Sunni scholars on the authenticity of this hadith, the various narrations of the scholars of hadith, and the debates of the Companions and Tabi’un (The generation of Muslims who followed the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), and thus received their teachings secondhand) are given. Finally, in the last chapter, the description of the word “Wali” (ولی), which was the focus of the words of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) on the day of Ghadir, is explained in the meaning of “priority in possession” which is followed by the leadership, rulership, and management of Muslim affairs. After that, the author has criticized the meaning of the “Wali” as “friend”, which only expresses the virtue and position of Imam Ali (a.s.).

Commissioned by the Translation Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the book “Ghadir Khumm Event” was translated by Mr. Jafarbandi Darian into Turkish, and the Publication House of the Assembly in collaboration with Tasnim Institute of Turkey have published 1000 copies of it in Turkey.
