Warith al-Anbiya Institute answers doubts raised regarding Ashura uprising: Hashemi Tonekaboni

Hashemi Tonekaboni, in charge of the booth of the Warith al-Anbiya Institute in the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, stated, “This institute collects and answers all the doubts that have been raised about Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the Ashura uprising.”

ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition, ABNA reporter interviewed Sayed Mahdi Hashemi Tonekaboni, in charge of the booth of the Warith al-Anbiya Institute.

Stating that this institute works in the field of research and monitoring the news about the Ashura uprising, he said, “This institute has been operating for 15 years, and during this time, the doubts that have been raised about Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the Ashura uprising, have been collected and answered in this institute. Also, this institute is connected with universities and academic centers and supports students’ theses about Imam Hussain (a.s.).”

“Expert meetings are held in Warith al-Anbiya Institute with the presence of prominent figures,” Hashemi Tankabani said, “So far, Messrs. Rafiei, Fazel Lankarani, Tabatabaei and Daqaq have given speeches in the conference hall of this institute in Qom.”

“This exhibition helps to get acquainted with other participating institutes and has provided the Warith al-Anbiya institute with the opportunity to collaborate with researchers,” he commented in the end on the “Lights of Guidance” exhibition.

It should be mentioned that on the establishment anniversary of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the exhibition of the achievements of institutions and organizations active in the international propagation of Islam, entitled “Lights of Guidance” is being held from Saturday, December 31, 2022, until January Thursday 5, 2023, in the conference hall of the Islamic Propagation Office of the Seminary.         

It is worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiites seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from real and legal capabilities of Shiites.

The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/
