“Jihad of Enlightenment” duty of those waiting for Imam Mahdi (a.s.): Ayatollah Ramazani
Pointing out that the duty of those waiting for Imam Mahdi (a.s.) is “Jihad of Enlightenment” which is mentioned in the Quran as the Great Jihad, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “While some ignore the achievements of the forty years of the Revolution, the Friday Imams must describe the ‘Jihad of the Enlightenment’.”
On Friday night, March 18, 2022, at the birth ceremony of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) which was held at the Langarud Grand Mosque, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Langarud is a city with a history of religiosity and Velayat, and many religious people live in this city.”
Pointing out that it is necessary to prepare a cultural document in each city, and work according to that plan, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “Fortunately, our young generation is active, and they need to have frequent meetings. We are also eager to attend such meetings.”
While congratulating the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), emphasizing the intellectual and spiritual connection with that Imam, he stated, “We must increase our knowledge about Imam Mahdi.”
“Knowledge about Imam Mahdi (a.s.) must be expanded,” Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out, “The more knowledge and cognition, the more love.”
“There are many who only recite the Nudba supplication and shed tears, but in practice do nothing to prepare for the reappearance. Some even believe that the Islamic Revolution of Iran prevented the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.)! It is a deviation that some say we should not take any action to for corruption prevails all over the world,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
“It is our duty to stand up and confront the aggressor polytheists who are plotting, oppressing, killing, discriminating, and so on,” he added.
“Religious politics is based on Islamic values, and its goal is to achieve justice for which it must be paid,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.
“Justice is the desire of all divine prophets. All the prophets came to achieve justice, and justice means that everything is in its place,” emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“With his morality, the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) introduced a world religion. But later the Umayyads and the Abbasids did not allow the pure rules of Islam to be implemented, and the religion was left in the hands of the wicked,” he mentioned.
“If religion is left in the hands of the ignorant, nothing will be left of it, and Islam will be introduced upside down,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated.
“In the past, Islam was in closets and warehouses, and the Quran was on the shelves. Today, Islam has gained power against arrogance, and the only power to oppose arrogance is Islam,” stated the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts.
“General Soleimani was a Mujahid who forced Washington to surrender. That is why he was martyred at the behest of the criminal Trump, and his martyrdom affected all libertarians in the world,” he added.
“With forming ISIL, which beheads a thousand people in one day, enemies sought to portray religion as violent. Some people use violence in the name of religion to terrorize the society. While the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was sent to spread mercy,” Ayatollah Ramazani said.
“Justice cannot be achieved without resistance,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized, “Justice is costly.”
“There has been resistance and jihad in all religions. There are 400 verses about jihad and resistance in the Holy Quran. This number of references in the Quran is more than the number of references to prayer, fasting, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, Hajj, and so on,” he mentioned.
Pointing out that the duty of those waiting for Imam Mahdi (a.s.) is “Jihad of Enlightenment” which is mentioned in the Quran as the Great Jihad, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The 13-year jihad of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) in Mecca meant the jihad of the Enlightenment. That time was spent expressing and explaining the divine commandments.”
“Verses related to jihad, meaning war against hostile infidels, have been revealed in Medina after 2 H,” added the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
Referring to the enemies’ plan to deviate Islam, he stressed, “In Germany, some have been allocated a 15-year government budget to oppose the Quran as a law book.”
“This is while the Holy Quran is a healing prescription of life, and therefore it must be acted upon and adhered to,” Ayatollah Ramazani added.
Further, pointing out that the leaders of Friday prayers should explain about the “Jihad of Enlightenment” to their audiences, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Some would like to say that the revolution has not done anything in the last forty years. While we are now a scientific power in the world.”
“There are economic and livelihood problems and some of basic goods are expensive, and this issue need to be addressed. All forces must work to solve the living problems of the people,” he emphasized.
“The Islamic Revolution is progressing. There must be jihad in cultural, political, social, and economic affairs. Today, the country is at a historic turning point, and today’s opportunity is golden,” Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out.
“Knowing Imam Mahdi (a.s.) is the same as obedience and knowing one’s duty to society,” the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts said, “If we want to prove our obedience to Imam Mahdi (a.s.), we must show its example in following the Marjaiat and Velayat.”
