Our view of dialogue should be interactive, not confrontational: Ayatollah Ramazani
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized, “By identifying elites and thinkers, the opportunity should be used to maximize interactions in the scientific and cultural fields.”
Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Mahdi Imanipour, head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization, met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
In this meeting, Ayatollah Ramazani expressed his hope that with the tact and management of Dr. Imanipour, the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization will shine in the new era. He also emphasized the cooperation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly with this organization.
“Our view of the dialogue should be interactive, not confrontational,” he added.
“One of the blessings of communication and interaction is that when the leaders of the religions realize that Islam is the religion of rationality, spirituality and justice, Islamophobia will no longer be effective,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“In addition to the leaders and elites of religions, interaction and communication must be formed in the body of society,” Ayatollah Ramazani added, “Dialogue creates a process of unity in the world to preserve and support the followers of religions, which will be very effective.”
“By identifying elites and thinkers, the opportunity should be used to maximize interactions in the religious, scientific and cultural fields,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly mentioned in another part of his speech.
Also in this meeting, the head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization said, “Dialogue must be transferred from the worn-out and old body of world leaders to the heart of young and elite communities.”
“Utilizing abundant domestic capacities, with a suitable platform for expanding international activities, is one of the priorities of the organization,” he added, referring to the strategic vision of the organization.
In the end, he expressed hope that with the integration of the capacities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization and the maximum interaction, the field of synergy and change in activities in the international arena should increase.
