5-volume collection “Tafsir of Holy Quran taken from works of Imam Khomeini” unveiled in Istanbul

On the blessed birthday of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and Imam Sadeq (a.s.), a ceremony entitled “Blessed Birthday and Unity Week” was held in Istanbul by Kowsar Publications of Turkey. In this ceremony, the five-volume collection “Tafsir of the Holy Quran, taken from the works of Imam Khomeini was unveiled.

On the blessed birthday of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) and Imam Sadeq (a.s.), a ceremony entitled “Blessed Birthday and Unity Week” was held in Istanbul by Kowsar Publications of Turkey. In this ceremony, the 5-volume collection “Tafsir of the Holy Quran, taken from the works of Imam Khomeini" was unveiled.

The book, which is a Quranic and Tafsir, taken from the Imam Khomeini works, in five volumes, was translated into Turkish by the Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and Imam Khomeini Publishing House, and was published in the winter of 2020 in Istanbul by the Kowsar Publications Institute, owned by the Turkish Shiites.

The ceremony, which was held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the Kowsar Institute in Istanbul, was attended by a group of Ulama, officials and followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) School. Participants in the event included Sheikh Qadir Akaras, the Head of the Union for the AhlulBayt Ulama of Turkey, Hojat al-Islam  Kheirian, Professor of the Seminary of Qom, Kurosh Moghtadari, Iranian Cultural Attaché in Istanbul, Abbas Kazemi, Director of Kowsar Publications, Jafar Darbandi Director of Tasnim Publications, Hojat al-Islam Dr. Mahdi Farmanian, Director General of Studies and Research of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and Dr. Hassan Sadeqian, Expert of the Commonwealth Countries and Turkey, Office for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Qadir Akaras, Kheirian, Abbas Kazemi and Dr. Farmanian spoke at the event, and Hojat al-Islam Ali Kamsari, head of the Imam Khomeini Publishing House, gave a speech virtually.

Another part of the ceremony “Blessed Birthday and Unity Week” was the unveiling of the five-volume collection “Tafsir of the Holy Quran, taken from the works of Imam Khomeini”, written by Hojat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Eyazi which was translated into Turkish with the cooperation of the Office for the International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the Institute for Organizing and Publishing the Works of Imam Khomeini (r.a.) and published by Kowsar Publications of Turkey.

Other programs included poetry readings, video clips from the movie “Muhammad (p.b.u.h)”, reciting the praising, and a symbolic birthday, which was held in a passionate and glorious manner with the participation of the audience.

It is worth mentioning that the translation and publication of the five-volume collection Tafsir of the Holy Quran was completed in 2020, but due to limitations caused by Covid 19, its unveiling ceremony was postponed.

It should be mentioned that this ceremony was broadcast live for 2 and a half hours on Turkish Channel 14.
