AhlulBayt (a.s.) cannot be defended only verbally: Ayatollah Ramazani
Stating that love for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) has a rational, narrative, and natural reason, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) cannot be defended only verbally, the most important aspect is obedience.”
On Sunday, December 13, 2021, in a speech to the staff of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is the axis for (supporting) the AhlulBayt (a.s.). Therefore, the behavior, speech and actions of its staff must be based on the ethics and manners of the Infallibles (a.s.). Sometimes we have to reflect on the mission we have undertaken in a place.”
“Love for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) has a rational, narrative, and natural reason. The Holy Quran says to the Prophet (p.b.u.h), “قُلْ لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَىٰ” (Say, ‘I do not ask you any reward for it except the love of [my] relatives.’) (Holy Quran, Surah: Ash-Shura, Verse: 23),” said the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) cannot be defended only verbally, (but this protection must be practical and) the most important aspect is obedience (to God). Imam Sadeq (a.s.) says, “Our intercession does not reach anyone except those who are doers”,” he added.
“The Quran and Etrat (AhlulBayt) must be together. The Holy Quran is the instruction for life. Imam Sadeq (a.s.) says, “It is not appropriate for a Muslim not to recite (at least) 50 verses of the Quran daily. God has set rewards for looking at and reciting the Quran. In the month of Ramadan, the recitation of each verse of the Quran has the reward of the recitation of whole Quran,” stated Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to the Hadith al-Thaqalayn.
“We should try to make our workplace a place of worship. Sometimes we think that worshiping merely means congregational prayers and daily prayers. But we can make our looking, talking, writing, and learning worships. The workplace can be the best place to grow spiritually,” said the representative of the Assembly of Experts, addressing the staff of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
